"A great thing that you're not late again Tay." Grant chuckled as he jokes on my tardy arrivals

every. single. time. 

"Yeah. Thanks to someone making me stay up until 2am just because of a sweater and starting my day with an argument" I frown as I remember what happened last night. 

"Did you two fight again?" Grant said looking me straight in the eyes. His hazels got something that I cant explain. I dont even know why I see-

Nevermind

"What do you expect of Caylee? For her, arguments are a must. But, Grant dont worry. We made ammends already." I smiled at him.

"Good thing it didnt last long." He smiles back at me. 

Hmm. Enjoy the moment Taylor. 

"Hey guys! What're you two doing here? Rehearsals start in five" 

Liz. great. timing.

She came running towards us. 

"Uhh, why are you sitting under a tree?" a puzzled look on her face. 

I didnt noticed that. Oh and we're facing at each other too. 

"We were just talking, Liz." Grant smiles at her. 

She raised her eyebrow at us. Then put her attention on me. A smirk on her lips. 

Then she turned to Grant. Then to me. Then to Grant again until Grant stood up and I did too. 

"I'll go ahead Tay. See you inside." He smiled at me then made his way towards the door

"Oh. And Grant?" Liz said.

Grant stopped on his tracks and planted his gaze on us.

"Claire is looking for you" She smiles. 

Yeah right. Grant has a girlfriend. Sorry I forgot. 

He nods at Liz and me. Then walked towards the door again.

We were both silent until Liz finally broke it. 

"A right time will come Tay. Dont worry." Liz smirked at me. 

Wait. What?!

"What are you talking about Liz?" I looked at her with an innocent expression.

"Dont you think we notice?"

"Notice what?" I asked her. I hope they wont know about what I feel about Grant. 

"The way you two act towards each other, what else? Oh, and those looks on your faces when you're talking? And the smiles! Yes, the smiles Tay." she told me not stopping at all.

I gave her the flattest expression I got but still my blush cant hold it. I looked down when I felt my cheeks flamed. 

"Do you like him?" Liz asks.

Yes. A. Lot. 

"No. Of course not. Best friends, Liz" I lied not looking in her eyes.

"Hmm. Okay. I think we're already late for rehearsals. Let's go?" She smiled at me.

I nodded.

Thank God she dropped it.

As we enter the door she held my hand and pulled me a little down and whispered, 

"You can always talk to me or Caitlin or Abigail or your mom anytime Tay." 

She let go of my hand and smiled at me she turned away and skipped  a few steps advancing me.

I just stood there. And when she faced me again-

"Girls understand" and winked and left me there. Gaping at her. 

Why do  you have to be this great Liz?
