My Best Friend's Brother is so...so..UGH!

Chapter 9

I sigh happily as I open the door for Elliot to leave,''Thanks for coming over,'' I smile, looking up into his bright blue eyes.

''I'm glad you enjoyed my company,'' he whispers, his eyes turning to my lips and then leaning in slowly. I hold my breath, and wait for his soft lips to be placed on mine. 

I suddenly hear a cleared throat and I jolt back, snapping my eyes open to find my dad's angry ones. He was dressed in his usual Army uniform, and his brown hair was going different directions, He was swinging his keys with a single finger, ''Hi dad,'' I whisper nervously, taking a tiny step back from Elliot. 

''Hey,'' he grunted, then slowly turns to Elliot. ''Isn't it a school night, boy?'' he asks sternly, looking at him dead in the eye.

''No sir. It's a Saturday...sir,'' he murmered. 

''Oh. Right...well....I'm going to bed.'' he says, glaring at my boyfriend. He steps in between us, and calmly walks silently inside the house.

I look up at Elliot and he chuckles,''Now, where were we?'' he smiles, leaning down and pressing his lips to mine. I close my eyes slowly, and reach up to wrap my arms around him,''Wait!'' I whisper, pulling away. ''He's watching!''

He turns to look around the house, then back down to my eyes,''No he's not?'' 

''Oh..alright.'' I sighed, continuing to kiss him.

I walk into school on Monday, smiling brightly. Luke first  approaches me in the hallway and I smile,'' Hey, Payton. Did you forget something?'' he asks, flicking his brown hair out of his eyes.

My face turns to curiosity,''What?''

''Our coffee?'' he whispers, leaning in closer so I could hear, his green eyes piercing through mine. I gasp and cup my hand over my mouth,''I'm so sorry!'' I say, my voice muffled. He gives me a heart stopping smile and shakes his head,''Don't worry about it. You'll make it up for me,'' he bites his lower lip and brushes past my shoulder, his smell invading my nose. 

I shake my head, and continue down the hallway. ''What up best friend!'' Carly laughs, hooking her arm under mine. ''Hey!'' I grin, walking. ''Whoa, why were you talking to Luke?'' she asks, as we watch his broad shoulders shift down the hallway in his black longsleeve shirt. ''Oh..um,....no reason.'' I whisper the last part. ''No reason..''

As I brush my long hair in my reflection, I hear my phone vibrate. I look down at my bed and see it was from a unknown caller,

''Hello?'' I ask. ''Your mine.'' a unfamilar husky voice hissed. Panic started to rise in my body,''Who-who is this!'' I shout, clutching my phone harder to my ear. ''The love of your life,'' the man whispers, before the line cuts. 

I slowly retrieve the phone from my ear..

What?
