"There's our birthday girl!" Kim shouted as I entered Mom's house.

"Oh my god. You look beautiful." She added. Giving me a hug.

"Thanks. Where's everyone?" I hugged her back.

"Their in the dinning room. Come on." She grabbed my hand and pulled me to the dinning, where everyone except dad was there.

"Happy Birthday to our beautiful, sweetest Kendster. I love you bunch babygirl." Khloe said, hugging me from behind as I sat on one the chairs.

"Aww. Thanks a bunch sister. I love you too."

Everyone begun greeting me and giving me hugs and kisses. Everyone was there, well dad came a little.

"So Kendie..." Dad started.

I hummed in reply, looking up from my food.

"Your 18 now. What are you planning afterwards?"

I gulp down the food in my mouth and wipe my lips before answering. "Well. I'll still be continuing modeling ofcourse. And let's see where it goes from there."

"We heard you and Kendall got a lot of projects together right?" Khloe asked.

"Uh. Yeah. There's gonna be a lot of runways and shoots." Kendall answered as I nodded.

"So what's it like to be an official Victoria's Secret angel?" Kylie asked excitedly.

"Well. There's nothing much of a difference from the other runaway projects I've done before. But the VS sure knows how makes it a lot more fun and exciting." I answered.

"Good for you then." Kendall frown slightly.

"Hey. Don't be like that. You and Gigi can still make it this year though. I heard Cara and the others can't attend this years show so you guys will surely be recruited." I encouraged her.

"Yeah. I hope so." Kendall shrugged.

"Speaking of VS. We saw how Justin's been touchy to to you on the show. You guys look cute together." Khloe interjected.

I roll my eyes at her and begun drinking some white wine before answering back.

"It's Justin for God sake. He's always been like that to us."

"Nah uh. He's not like that with me and Kendall. You're just special to him." Kylie pointed out, causing me to frown at her.

"There's no shame in admitting it to us Kendie. You and Justin will make a great couple. The boy is great for you." Mom added.

"Mom I thought we've talked about this." I answered groaning.

"But you and me didn't young lady. If you and Justin are already going out. The least you can do is tell us. Not letting us find out in the news or tabloids." Dad joined in.

"Dad! Do you hear what you're saying? Oh my god. You think I'm like that? To not let you guys know? Me and Justin wanted to take it slow. For me to turn 18 and for him to talk to you guys about it. And here we are, in the night before my birthday arguing about this." My voice came out a little loud than expected.

I can practically sense the tension growing. And the eyes of everyone darting from whoever their making an eye contact with.

"And besides. I'm an adult now. I can do whatever I want." I murmured but loud enough for them to hear.

"Not by a long shot young lady." Dad shots back at me. You see, me and Dad are the most stubbornly people you'll ever met. Not even mom and the others can comprehend our stubborness. And right now, we're clashing. Not a good thing, let me tell you.

"Oh my god. I'm not having this conversation right now." Dropping my fork on my plate. Making a loud clanking sound.

"Kendie. Stop." Kourtney warned.

"Let's just finish this evening without anymore issues ok? We can all just talk about it later." Kim tried reasoning but I already stood up and grab my bag.

"It's ok. I'm already full anyway. Thanks for the night guys. See you tomorrow night. Bye. Goodnight." I said, walking away. Not giving any of my family to stop me.

Well. What do you expect? When you're a Kardashian or a Jenner. All the dramas and conflicts will always be a daily habbit in your fabulous life.

I would trade anything I have right now just to a peaceful and contented version of my family. But just like they say. You can't always have everything in life.

I went inside my Hammer and breathe my frustrations away before pulling out my phone and dialed Justin's number.

It rings few seconds before he picks up.

"Hello babe? What's up?" Justin's voice suddenly made me a lot calmer than few seconds ago. Do men always has this kind of power or is it only Justin's?

"Where are you? Let's meet up..."

"Woah. Dinner ended earlier than expected? What happened?"

"Ugh. You know how my family is. So meet up in the club." I gave a long sigh.

"Ok. See you there babe."

"Yeah. Bye."

Hanging up on my phone and drove off again.

Dad has always been so protective and it's driving me crazy. It's not like I'm still a kid anymore right? They let me moved out and have my own and house and good career but whenever I see them they treat me as if I'm the same old innocent Kendie.
