{Kevin's P.O.V.}
They've already built the machine to make me a human.
Wow. They build alot faster than squids do.
I go inside the machine. When I come back out a few seconds later, I look just like a human boy.
I am a human boy.
I see Katie. I walk up to her (A little awkwardly. I'm used to eight legs.) and she turns around. She smiles and hugs me. I hug her back. When we let go a bell rings. "Oh. That's the lunch bell. Come on, you can sit with me and my friends." Katie says. I follow her to the cafeteria. People stare at me as I follow Katie. I pretend not to notice.
She sits at a table with two other recruits. The boy gets up and holds out his hand. "Hey. I'm Jacob." he says. I shake his hand. The girl gets up and introduces herself. "I'm Susan. Nice to meet you." We all sit down and Katie, Jacob, and Susan pull out food from their pockets. I realize I don't have food. Katie notices, and gives me a butter apple. "Here. I have another one anyway." she says. I thank her and bite into it.
This is the BEST thing I've EVER eaten in my LIFE.
I start eating faster and Katie laughs.
After lunch, I decide to wander around the Sky Army Base when Katie stops me. "Hey Kevin! I want to show you something..."
{Katie's P.O.V.}
"AAAAAAHHHHH!!! NOOOOO!!!" Kevin screams as he falls. I laugh. I decided to show Kevin the parkour course I'm always on. Jacob and Susan are here too. "Don't worry!" I shout down to him. "There's water at the bottom!" he hits the water with a huge splash. A few seconds later, he comes up, coughing and gasping. "I might have forgotten that I'm not a squid for a few seconds." he calls. I burst into laughter.
As the days go by, Kevin becomes more and more used to being a human and a Sky Army recruit. He's also getting smarter. And now he finaly realizes why we love butter so much! Nothing could ruin this!
Unless...

{A/N} A sorta cliffhanger! Well, this is the last chapter of this book, so please comment whether you liked it or not. Depending on what you thought of this, I may or may not write a sequel.
I'm working on another story. As soon as I got the whole plot written down, I'll start uploading it.
