A puzzle piece?

Life is like a puzzle piece
Building up these broken stairs
Love is the biggest piece
But only I have come to wear

Time is for when a story ends
Often love just bends and bends
So much that these pieces break
Shattered love, and life at steak

A clock simply counts down
how much time you have left
Staring at it blankly as it ticks
Then it dwels that you haven't slept

Out of all the things you can use to represent
A puzzle seems to be most used
As a form of life, love, or a simple statement
But how come we use it more for a muse?

Do you know the definition of muse?
Do you know what it means to be used?
Muse as in love, or lust or to have feelings confused
Used as in broken, ripped apart, or lost, and even screwed

A puzzle can be used as a synonym
for things such as muse
You can love your life or even hate it
And have your whole LIFE confused

Just as a puzzle piece
Or as a whole
Think about how you try to find the right pieces
CONFUSED on how to solve the whole

A puzzle can also be used
As a way to say you've been used
A puzzle ripped apart to shreds
Broken and searching for a way to end

There are pieces lost
In this puzzle of mine
You can try to screw things together
Force things in to your time

Think about how you use your words
Do you think you're cool obsurd?
Do you believe you're a muse, or have been used?
Which one are by you

But more importantly, did YOU choose?
