"Lucious Lyon doesn't care about anybody but his self"Jamal said looking at me. I brushed off his comment and he sighed. I looked around the venue its beautiful. All of a sudden there was a commotion from the crowd. I looked towards it to find Lucious and her. I heard Jamal scoff. I glanced at him. "Did I not just explain this to you"he said and walked off. I glared at lucious and started to make my way over there when my heart shattered.
"She's my everything, the love of my life."Lucious said.
Cookie's heart broke into a million pieces. Had what they shared not ment anything to him? She stumbled backward and onto an empty hallway. She slid down the wall and sobbed.
'He said he loved me' she thought Her mascara ran down her face with the tears she shed. She heaved a sigh and got off the floor. "Get yourself together Cookie, he's not worth it" she encouraged herself. She trailed off to the bathroom and fixed her make up and went to the party. 'I'm not going to let lucious and boo boo kitty fuck up my life' she thought as she walked into the party, her head held high.
