Every word leaves a mark
Every clue leads to a heart
I can't tell you why
I'm not why you fly
I'll be the weight on your shoulders
The embers that slowly smolder
You'll feel it late at night
And you'll cry out your eyes
It'll happen again and again
Leaving marks on your skin
Because you'll pick up self harm
And you'll leave behind scars
You'll walk this road alone
And your heart will turn stone
You'll hate your reflection
You'll lose determination
Your faith will fail
But no one will tell
Memories will haunt you
And they'll never leave you
And lastly most of all
You'll smile and stand tall
They won't see you cry
Even though it's in your eyes
