Chapter 1-His Lost Love

//This is My First Story Here!!! Enjoy!!!! in this story, Atem is on his own, but still does not remember most of his memories, some, but not all!//

Akina would walk around the city of domino as a heavy sigh escaped from her lips. As this young teenager walked, she thought of what had happened back in Egypt, and how she had mysterious powers then, and as well as now, connecting to the other side, the spirit world as one may call. Akina smiled slightly up to the sky as she was thinking of the Pharaoh, known as Atem Aknamkanon, whom she had had a crush on back then as well as now, but felt betrayed because of her best friend June, who married the pharaoh and became his queen. The young King didnt remember any of them, some, but not many though because he had sealed away his memories along with darkness that had threatened to destroy the world. Akina would look down to the ground beneath her now, as she walked. "Oh Pharaoh..." The young teen would say to herself as the wind started to blow through her black hair. "I wonder how you are doing, My King..." she replied to herself but she had sensed something, very off at this moment now. "Who is...?" Her question was interrupted as she looked up, and saw the Pharaoh, Atem. Now, at this moment, Atem was on his own, he had his own body, but still did not remember much of his past at all. Akina looked up, as her golden eyes would widen. "Pharaoh..." She would then mutter to herself and then would look down once again. The young teenage Pharaoh would look around as he then would see Akina. He started to walk over towards the young girl, getting that itch in the back of his mind that he somehow knew the her. "Hello,..." Atem replied to Akina, as she then looked up and saw him. "Hello there..." She replied with a small but warm yet gentle smile. "How are you, My dear? I am Atem..." Akina's golden eyes would widen once more, as she looked at the purple eyed man. "I am Akina, and yes I know...you are the ruler of Egypt..." Akina replied with a smile. Atem nodded his head slightly. "yes, but that's mainly all I can remember, at least at this point...but your name sounds very familiar..." Akina then sensed something off again as she looked around, sensing someone whom she known very well. The King Of Thieves, Bakura, then walked out of the shadows, also having his own body and with a smirk he replies. "oh my, if it isnt the dear Pharaoh...and oh who else? My slave Akina..." He smirked walking towards her but the Pharaoh would step protectively in front. "Leave now, Bakura! You shall not touch this young woman..." Bakura then would laugh, a sinister one. "HA! Please Pharaoh, you could not protect her from me back then...what makes you think you can NOW!?" He asked with another huge smirk. Atem growled and would push Akina behind him gently, but very protectively as well. "Akina, you must leave, I will handle Bakura..." Atem replied looking at Bakura angrily. "But my Pharaoh..." Akina would try to argue a little, but Atem would interrupt. "No buts Akina, now GO!" Atem told her. Akina nodded and then started running a bit. "I don't think so Pharaoh!" Bakura replied with a evil, sinister, maniac laugh as he froze Akina with his Millennium Ring, as she was now paralyzed. He smirks at Atem. "She belongs to ME Pharaoh..."  Atem growled and used his Millennium Puzzle to release Akina as the Eye Of Horus appeared onto his forehead and he began to glow, along with the Millennium Puzzle. Putting Akina behind him, Atem growled in his throat lightly, and demanded Bakura leave as Bakura growls and then takes his leave. Akina smiled slightly and hugs Atem from behind. "Thank you for protecting me, Pharaoh..." Akina would start to say, but Atem interrupted once more. "It is my job, to protect my people...now, if I may ask, what exactly happened to you?" Akina would sigh another great heavy one, as she looked at Atem and then told him the story of her life back in Egypt of how she was his servant, left to go get stuff for the palace and then was kidnapped by Bakura and also raped, and forced to be HIS save at the time. Atem's eyes widened. "Well if I would have known, surely that would NOT have happened to you Akina and I'm deeply sorry for not protecting you, and he shall pay next time I see him, alright?" Akina smiled slightly looking at Atem. "Pharaoh, its alright...you dont have too..." Atem put his hand on Akina's worried, and growled. "It is NOT alright, you are one of my people and you've suffered, I WILL make sure he gets his payback and yes, I really do have too...it is my job to protect the people and I did not protect you......." Akina blushed a bit as Atem put his hand on hers and she smiled a bit.
