Chapter 2.5

(Tweeks pov )

I arrived at school where I grabbed my books from my locker and headed to math class. The only reason I like math is because Craig sits next to me in in it. Before I could enter the classroom, Token and Clyde pulled me aside
"Yo Tweek" Clyde started, "We need to ask you a question"
"Wh..what is it? -GAH-"
"Do you wanna go to the dance with Craig-" Before Clyde could finish his sentence, Tokens eyes widened when he heard the name Craig, therefore slapped the back of Clyde's head with his textbook
"Dude! You weren't suppose to mention Craig! Remember?!" He whispered to a dazed and confused Clyde
"Well.. Uh.. No. Craig didn't say anything about NOT mentioning himself" Clyde said in defence
"Yeah but I don't think he would want us to go blurting out, CRAIG WANTS TO GO TO THE DANCE WITH TWEEK!"
Token and Clyde argued back and forth when I interrupted them by asking:
"W..wait so Craig wants to go to the d..dance with me?"
"Yeah, he kinda likes you" Token pointed out
"Rrr..REALLY?" I was beet red at the thought of Craig liking me back
"Ever since when?"
"Uhh grade 5"
"Jesus christ!" I yelled happily while everyone around me stared in confusion
"C.can you tell Craig that I like him back a..and that i'd be really happy to go to the dance with h..him!"
"Wait you like Craig too? Token questioned
"Yeah"
"How come you didn't tell is sooner?"
"I thought you guys might make fun of m..me"
The bell rang so Token and Clyde quickly congratulated me then ran off to Spanish class.

As I headed to my desk I noticed Craig wasn't there (he's always there before me so I knew something was up). I asked Mr. Garrison (who followed us to high school cause he couldn't stand grade schoolers) if I could quickly find Craig
"Go quickly" he ordered

I dashed out of the class looking everywhere for my boyfriend-to-be.
I checked the bathroom: nope
The cafeteria: nope
The library: never in a million years
Then I stumbled upon his locker. He was right there talking to Heidi Turner. I mean it would've been normal for them to be talking at lunch but the fact he's willing to skip class when he knew Mr. Garrison will beat his ass, was weird, thus I hid behind the wall and listened. They where talking about the dance whilst Heidi getting really up-close and personal with Craig. From where I was standing Craig didn't mind her being 1cm away from him! Does he really like me??
"So uhhh.. I.. I really need a date to the dance and you're really really cute! Cuter than anyone else in the class. And i've really liked you for a while and I just really need you to say yes! So please please i'm begging you, go to the dance with me!" Heidi said with confidence. My mind started to overflow with thoughts of him and Heidi. Thats when I came to the conclusion of Craig falling in love with Heidi and not me.
As I slowly got up to leave the hell-hole of a school, I heard Craig's voice call my name. I stared at his blurry image through me tear-filled eyes and shouted
"GAH! I.. I.. IM SORRY!" And dashed out of the hallway into the bathroom, where I started to cry

Craig said yes to Heidi. They were gonna slow dance the night away throughout the time I cry myself to sleep, wondering why I even fell in love in the first place.
