The barking echoed through out my head.  Then I was back, and the Tees were charging us. I pulled out my knife but there were too many.  I took one down and followed Kahleel out the door.  Then I turned and saw Cooper in the crowd.  I ran back, grabbed the leash and ran.  We got out safely.  Damon walked up to us and said hello.  He gave us some water and food and said he found a flyer for a safezone in Augusta.  He said he was heading there.  He asked if we wanted to join him.  I said okay but Kahleel refused.  I had to talk him into doing it.  He told us to leave him.  I thought he was crazy! He said to leave him over and over again.  He turned towards us and he said he will tell us if we promise to leave him after. Damon said sure without a problem but I refused. He talked me into it. He told us to sit down.  We sat on the ground and he told us that he knew this day would come, that he wouldn't be able to make it through the whole apocalypse without this happening.  He then showed us what happened.  I gasped.  Damon puked.  For Kahleel was bit, on his arm.  I asked if we could do something and he said that he was bit, end of story.  He gave us all his stuff and told us to leave him.  We left.  I turned to take one last final look at Kahleel but he was gone.  Damon and I continued on, until it was night and we stopped and stayed at a church.  Damon went straight to sleep and I took watch.  I still couldn't believe Kaheel got bit.  Then Cooper approached me, and laid down.  He fell to sleep and I thought "What have you done, God".  I walked off and fell asleep.  Not aware of what is coming for us in the morning.
