(Jeremy's POV)

"B-bonnie is in the vents..." I mumble to the other man in the small office room, hearing the animatronic rabbit scurry through the thin ventilation systems on each of the sides of the office. Mike nodded slowly and hummed in reply, getting two of the Freddy masks ready for the both of us.

It has been almost two and a half weeks since this whole incident happened, and I can't say things have been getting any better. Vincent allowed us to go back to work after making an agreement with Mike, though, it has been extremely tough trying to negotiate with him. He kept yelling at us to just let him go, and after having to break up yet another fight between the two, Mike had a small mental breakdown after Vincent laid down the rules. He broke away from us and locked himself in the bathroom. It took me forever to convince him to come out, and when he did I just laid on the carpeted floor with him until he finally calmed down. He's on the verge of breaking and yet we push him further. He doesn't deserve to be in this situation.

I let out a small sigh as I glanced over to him, seeing that he was staring intently at the tablet monitor; the dull light shone on his face as he flicked between each of the cameras. He taped his finger on the music box, winding it up so we don't have issues with that puppet thing.

The tense atmosphere between the two of us was very awkward, and it seemed to be happening a lot more often. I shifted my crossed legs to the other side uncomfortably on the swivel chair while watching mike through the corner of my eye. Vincent says I need to keep an eye on him at all times.

He's been noticeably a lot nicer to me, not so much Vincent obviously, but he's also much quieter. He often rarely talks to any of us. I mean...I wouldn't blame him. We kind of put him through hell these past weeks. I turn my head to the left, the opposite of where he was sitting. I suddenly feel really upset, thinking that if I wasn't such a clumsy kid, I could have solved the problem before it even started. I look down at my feet and sigh. This is my entire fault...

I wanted to apologize for all of this happening to him, for keeping him trapped with us, but when I opened my mouth to say something, nothing came out. Swallowing hard, I quickly shut my mouth and stood up on my shaky legs, walking over to check the vents just to make sure. Bonnie was gone, thankfully, but I could hear foxy was creeping down the hall. His metallic bare paws clicked on the hard tiled surface of the ground as he maneuvered from side to side.

It was only a Tuesday, so they shouldn't be very active today. I shuffled back over to my seat and carefully sat down, running a hand through my messy brunette hair, pushing it out of my eyes. I take another quick glance over to mike, seeing that he had set the tablet down and was rubbed his tired eyes. He stretched out his arms while inhaling a deep breath, letting it out quietly. He licked his dry lips and looked over at me. I felt my heart skip a beat as his sharp, navy blue eyes met my soft emerald ones. I quickly snapped my head away from his gaze and heard him let out a sigh. I could feel him still staring for a little while longer, until he picked up the tablet off the table and started to flip through the cameras once again.

I glanced back up hesitantly, watching the images flicker on his face as he clicked each room camera. The loud table fan spun unless hot air into the office, though I'm glad it's on. That fan is the only thing breaking the silence between us. My eyes shift down to my small hands that sat in my lap, they were shaking for no reason at all. I rubbed them to see if I could calm myself down.
