Hi it was Friday 14th June 2013
I was at school and as per usual I look through Facebook trying to find a horse round about 14hh - 14.2hh last lesson just dragged I was waiting for my mam to text. When she did finally text she said get my hat, body protector and riding things on so at 6.00 I got ready and we went to Alma's yard there was a horse in the stable he was a dark brown he was amazing. After we got to know him they didn't know his age they thought he was between 15-17 they didn't know. He was 15hh and he was energetic. I rode him and he was amazing but a bit forward going!
After we viewed him me and my mam when home I told her that I didn't feel safe on him and I didn't bond with him.
Saturday 15th June 2013
We went up to the stables with ally to see Romeo I went out on him and he spooked at the bushes after we went into the arena and we were trotting around when he wet into canter I manages to stop him then we went around on the other rein. There was a pole on the ground and he went into canter and I couldn't stop him and he got faster and faster and he went into fast gallop he went found 7 times and on the 7 time round he got faster and faster then I got left behind I lost both stirrups and fell off the other side and really hurt my knee I was injured from my shoulder downwards on my left side and I couldn't turn my neck left and I really hurt my ribs and my hips and my knee was swollen 2-3 weeks later it was still hurting.
This is a true story if you are a really forward going rider that's the type of horse u need and if u want a plodder like me an x schoolie is the best x
