  She has always been allusive, never staying for too long.

  One moment she is there, and the next she is gone.

  I thought I could hold on to her,

  I thought she'd never leave my side.

  How silly of me to think she'd stay.

  She hung around like a ghost,

  Always looking over my shoulder.

  She told me such wonderful things;

  I couldn't help but believe her.

  She was so intoxicating,

  I felt like a million bucks.

  The world was so much better with her by my side.

  The colors were brighter,

  The smells more vivid,

  And the image in the mirror was nicer. 

  One day she took off, leaving no trace behind.

  All I have is memories,

  And the words she had chanted to me.

  I know better now than to hold on to something so transparent.

  Why rely on someone, 

  When you can do it yourself?

  Still I couldn't let go,

  She had taken so much of me with her

  So I put up flyers everywhere,

  Asking if anyone had seen her.

  If you have seen her,

  Please let her know

  That I'm looking for her

  That I had made a mistake,

  And that I miss her...
