2 days later
I woke up in the middle of the night. I heard a strange noise that sounded like a growl. Sleepily, I rubbed my eyes and got off my bed. My room was on the second floor and had a tall tree adjacent the window. The noise was coming from outside. I heard tapping from the window. I walked over and opened it. I peered out and saw Wolfy.
"Hey there Little Red." He chimed "Miss me yet?" He asked with a cocky smile. I rolled my eyes.
"Keep your voice down." I hissed "you'll wake up my mother. What are you doing in the Village anyway? You realise if your seen you'll be killed right?" He grinned at me.
"I know, but I really want you to see something." He sat on my window sill with his hand reaching out. "Well? Are you coming? He asked.
"What a if my mother figures out I snuck out" I whispered.
"It won't matter. Just come with me" he urged. I gave in and climbed out my window. He jumped down the tree skilfully.
"I don't think I can get down. I-it's too high..." I yelled down
"Jump down!" He yelled quietly. "I'll catch you!" I looked at him.
"As if you'll catch me! You'll probably just let me fall!" I muttered.
"Trust me!" He looked at me with his biggest eyes. "In the count of three. 1...2...3!" I hopped into his arms and he caught me. He stared down at me. Blushing, he put me down. The neighbours lights turned on. We looked at each other.
"Run!" He yelled as he grabbed my hand. His hand was warm. We ran past the front gate into the forest. We stopped in front of a large tree, the tree where we first met.
"We made it!" He said with a sigh of relief.
"Yeah we did." I put my hands on my knees. "Oh yeah, What did you want to show me again?" I panted.
"That's right. Follow me." He started walking into the woods.
"Hey wait up. Let me catch my breath at least!" I argued breathlessly as I ran after him.
