Today was the day I was going to see my daughter Annabeth. I haven't seen her since that boy Percy Jackson came and rescued her. She is going to school in New York with Percy who is now her best friend. Me, Helen my wife, and our twins Bobby and Matthew are going to visit Annabeth at the Jackson's. We had just arrived at the Jackson's apartment. When I rang the door bell Sally Jackson Percy's mom opened the door and led us into the kitchen for dinner. Annabeth was laughing with Percy over something he said. When she saw me she stopped and turned to look at me. Sally then told everyone to take a seat at the table so we can have dinner. Annabeth sat across from me right next to Percy. I ask Annabeth how schools has been going. She says it's great. I can see her eyes sparkle but I also see that she looks broken. I learn that Sally is a really nice person and her husband Paul is Annabeth's English teacher. After dinner we go to sit and chat in the family room. Percy let's the boys play video games while Sally and Helen make dessert. Paul cleans up. I offer to help but tells me to talk with my daughter. I walk in and sit on the couch. Annabeth and Percy come in after me. Percy goes to sit in the loveseat and Annabeth goes to fallow him. They are sitting really close together and I don't like that. Percy grabs Annabeth's hand and she smiles at him. Friends don't hold hands I thought. Are you guys dating? I ask. Annabeth replies with yes for two years. I yell at Annabeth telling her she shouldn't have a boyfriend. She just yells back saying she loves him. I don't care my daughter shouldn't date at 18. I see tears threatening to spill. It's not like he went through Tartarus for you or something like that I said angerly. All of a sudden Annabeth started screaming. She was kicking and punching but that didn't stop Percy. Percy went up to Annabeth and pulled her into his chest saying we're togeather over and over again. Then Annabeth snapped out of it and started to cry into Percy's chest. I have never seen Annabeth cry before and I hope I never do again. Percy picked up Annabeth and carried her bridal style to his room. I heard Percy's door close so I went upstairs to tell Percy that he cannot sleep in the same room as Annabeth but when I opened the door the sight was horrifying. Percy was on top of Annabeth and he was kissing her. I just stood there with my mouth hanging open. Annabeth and Percy soon notice me and brake apart. This is not excepteble I tell Annabeth. First I find out you have a boyfriend then I find your boyfriend making out with you. By the way Percy were is Annabeth's room? I questioned. She doesn't have a room? He responed. Well then where does she sleep? I ask. But before Percy can answer I get it. She sleeps with you! I yell. Everyone I made blue cookies, Sally yells. Annabeth and Percy sprint downstairs and into the kitchen. I slowly walk down and think about everything I have learned. First Annabeth has a boyfriend and the she randomly starts screaming and crying. I need to except her for the grown up woman she now is. But I still want to know what the screaming was about. When I get to the kitchen Annabeth and Percy are fighting over the last cookie. Annabeth has the cookie and Percy is trying to get it from her. Then Percy kisses Annabeth and while kissing her he steals the cookie . Percy! Annabeth yells and slaps him. Hey Annabeth I'm sorry for yelling at you. I just can't belive my daughter is growing up so fast. I tell her. And by the way I want to know what the screaming was about. I ask. Percy grabs Annabeth and pulls her on a chair. Well looks like we have a lot of explaining to do, Percy says.
