As they were sitting in the car Trisha's hand was resting by the stick shift, and as Mr. Espinoza went to switch gears his hand accidentally brushed hers. His face turned red, and he quickly apologized. She smiled and told him it was fine. She noticed he had taken a wrong turn, but he said "I wanna show you something I came across the other day, I know you live here but maybe you've never seen this." "Okay," she said "my mom thinks I'm walking anyways. So I have like thirty minutes to spare." As they parked Trisha could not help but smile at the beautiful landscape that she had never seen in her 16 years of living in Grail. "What do you think?" He asked. "It's so beautiful, I can't believe I've never seen this place before, there is so many flowers. It's like a field of cotton candy! But, how did all these pink an blue flowers get here, how long have they been here?" Trisha had responded while talking very fast. "Want to know a secret?" Mr. Espinoza asked. "Sure." She stated. "This is actually my house, I planted all these flowers last week. You're looking at my back yard. I've always liked flowers since I was a little kid. They made me feel happy, and they show how beautiful this world really is." Before Trisha could even respond he had gotten off the car and ran into his yard, she followed behind him and asked what he was doing. He picked a flower and put it behind her ear. He brushed his hand against her cheek as she blushed. He had slightly leaned in so she did the same. They're eyes were locked, so many thoughts of how wrong this was were running through both of their heads, but neither of them cared. He went in all the way and kissed her. She put her arms around his neck while he put his around her waist. This kiss was pure magic, that lasted no less than one minute. He pulled away and smiled at her and asked "Wanna stay for dinner?" "I'd love to!" She said excitedly. Trisha had called her mom and said Aaliyah had invited her over for dinner and if it was okay if she went. Her mother said it was fine. If only she knew Trisha was really going to be having dinner with the new teacher.
