17 year old Brently Beckett was in love with a girl he had only met once. 3 years ago they met on a cruise ship while both were on vacation, and they became the best of friends, and when it was time to leave they managed to get each other's addresses so they could be in contact with each other. Sophie was a ice skater who lived in Texas, and Brently played basketball and lived up in Michigan. They mailed letters to each other every week, until one day letter arrived asking if Brently's family wanted to meet Sophie's again at the most magical place on earth- Disneyland. They planned to go and then something completely unexpected happened.
