31 day challenge 3

Day 16

A polar bear (that can talk) and a normal bear (that can talk) meet a panda bear (that can't talk). WRITE THE AMAZING EPIC SAGA OF THEIR FRIENDSHIP, PART ONE.

~AN~ For the record, The polar bear's name is Hinrick, The normal bear is called Timur and the panda bear is called Chang... I randomly generated them don't question it! ~AN~

Sunlight drifted through the slatted windows of the cage, causes strange shadows through the penetrating beams. A small sign outside the cage read 'Hinrick- Polar'. Groggily, something moved in the deep shadow.

"Timur, you there?" 

There was no reply. Only silence and the occasional shuffle or squeak. Then through the darkened bars of his prison he heard it; the familiar Russian accent.

"Of course! Always awake. In Soviet Russia, we woke the sun my friend! Had any thoughts about our conversation?"

"Thought... Yes but I don't know how is can be done"

"Well... Me and Chang (he's in a cage around here. I hear him sometimes) we have talked about this and decided that we must escape. We see their faces sometimes poking through the bars and we think we can make a break for it if we are precise enough-"

Their conversation was broken by the sound of grating as half of the cage moved open showing Hinrick's natural habitat. Cold icy planes covered in thick blankets of snow, perfect to bury himself in. He walked forwards, his feet moving from solid steel to slippery snow. 

Being so early into the morning, the crowds of people were every little and spread out through the zoo, so the morning silence was filled with the very faint patter of feet. None of the other animals seemed to care now, they must be used to it. However, Hinrick couldn't cope with being behind the horrible bars, Expected to perform tricks to the paying public despite the fact that polar bears don't really do tricks when their traipsing through the arctic. Dragging himself to his feet, he paced his dirty white pass along the icy floor of the habitat he was placed in. Being such different types of bears, it was strange to be in such close proximity to other animals. Timur was also used to the cold, being a Russian brown bear. But Chang's for instance was a panda and therefore used to much warmer conditions.

Everyone had grown tired of being a play thing in a zoo, So from the striking red pandas to the fuzzy brown bears, They wanted out.  Banding together a team of bears from around the world had seemed like a difficult task but after having a cage meeting one night, they realized that nearly everyone wanted to go home. Finding a way to their individual countries? Well that was an entirely different hurdle to cross, and it would be discussed when bars were no longer surrounding them.

~AN~ I've just got visions dancing through my head know of bears in a zoo holding a PTA type meeting... Sorry for that... ~AN~
