Chapter 2

Mika's POV

I haven't been like myself lately. Well for starters I haven't had blood in like three days now and it's killing me. Every time I look at Yu and the others my chest twists with pain. Blood why do I have to drink it? Krul's blood was suiting me just fine. That was until it started tasting fowl and not as sweet. Human blood was what I needed not vampire blood. I tried to stay away from Yu-chan and the others. This is not what I needed right now, not with Guren watching over me like a hawk. Every different move I make I'm being followed. The erg for blood is growing deep inside of me.

"Hey Mika" everyone said when I entered the room. I tried not to look at them, as my heart started to beat faster.

"Hey" I mumbled back. I sat down next to Yoichi who was staring at me with the biggest eyes I've ever seen.

"Mika how has Guren been treating you? He's not been hurting you is he?" I just sat with my head down. Every minute was like eternity I needed to get Krul's blood somehow.

"No he's not hurting me. Hey have you seen Yu-chan anywhere?" I asked. I lifted my head up to see everyone staring at me. I just couldn't handle the pressure anymore. I jumped out of my chair and raced toward the door.

"Mika wait what's wrong?" I heard everyone say as I burst out of the room. I guess I didn't hear Yu come up behind me because he called my name as I walked quickly down the hallway. As I walked around the corner, tears began running down my face. I leaned against the wall slowly sliding down, as I tucked my knees to my chest.

"Yu-chan I don't want to hurt anybody, please help me" I whimpered. I started to shake violently, I wanted Yu-chan to embrace me in a big hug and tell me that everything was going to be okay. Just like he used to do when we were little. I slowly got up and walked to Yu-chan's apartment, where I was staying. As I opened the door the sunset shown bright pastel colors through the windows. I left my shoes in the walkway and walked over to the balcony windows. The sun slowly set under the horizon. Darkness swept over the city with a gust. I let my body flop on the coach with a thud. I grabbed the green pillow next to me and raised it to my chest. It must've been a few hours since I sat there in the dark. I heard loud footsteps running down the hall.

"Mika are you in here?" It was Yu-chan. I can't let him see me like this. I can't hold the lust for blood any longer. The next thing I remember is waking up with Yu-chan next to me.

"What happened? Why am I in the same bed as Yu-chan?"

I got up and looked at his sleeping face. My heart sank when I saw what was on his neck. Two red bite marks. How could I? Why did I do it, when did I do it? My breathing became heavy and fast. My head started to spin. Why couldn't I remember what happened last night?

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh" I screamed. I fell off the bed and moved towards the corner. I couldn't stop shaking as the memories of last night can into view.

Yu's POV

"Ahhhhhhhh". I quickly sat up and saw Mika shaking violently in the corner. His breathing was fast I think he was having a panic attack.

"Mika!" I quickly ran over to his side to make sure he calmed down before it got worse. I pulled into a big hug to help stop the shaking.

"Mika it's ok I'm right here and I'm not gonna leave you." He calmed down more after I said that. I could tell he was scared of what he did last night.

"It's okay Mika I forgive you."
