Hey there! I assume you're here because you're a writer looking to gain recognition for your work. If my assumptions are correct, you are in luck! Because you are the exact person we've been looking for.

I'm confused. What do you mean, you've been looking for me?

This holiday season, Amazin Kreation is hosting a New Year's writing competition that promotes second chances. Three awards will be given out. Prizes include having your story featured on our website that receives thousands of visitors every month as well as an invitation to become an official kreator for Amazin Kreation. In short, this entails writing for us for one month as many popular wattpadders (i.e. CrayonChomper, TaintedRain, makeandoffer) before you have done.

I want to enter. What do I have to write?

Write a short story in which someone is given a second chance, a fresh start, a new chapter in their life. Read the following quotation by Saran Ban Breathnach for inspiration.

"New Year's Day. A fresh start. A new chapter in life waiting to be written. New questions to be asked, embraced, and loved. Answers to be discovered and then lived in this transformative year of delight and self-discovery. Today carve out a quiet interlude for yourself in which to dream, pen in hand. Is there anything else I should know?

Yes! Your story must be:

Less than 1000 words
Any genre
No mature content
Never before published on Wattpad or any other platform

What will I be judged on?

Above all, the judges are looking for creativity like no other. Truth be told, we don't want your average sappy love story when the guy gives the girl a second chance. 

In addition, we are looking for stories that are thought-provoking, inspiring, and free of grammar mistakes.

And if you include the word 'discombobulated' in your story, you may be given bonus points. 

How and when do I have to enter?

Submit your story as a .doc or .docx file to alyssa@amazinkreation.com by midnight (EST) on January 15th, 2016. Make sure you include your Wattpad username in the body of the email. Participants can be from anywhere in the world, but MUST be able to write in English.
