Today was Wednesday and that meant school was shorter than the other 4 days, I don't understand why but I'm not complaining. I assumed Josh was going to be there even though he wasn't answering my calls or texts, I was getting worried.
Anthony wasn't waking up and I wasn't going to risk going into his room after what happened yesterday. I continued getting ready, I just had to finish my hair then I'd be ready to go.
As I walked to my car I noticed there was something stuck to the windshield, it was a note, I looked around as I got closer to it. It was from Josh and it said "Hey I found your address in the school system and since I can't text you I wrote this, I won't be at school for the rest of the week. You know where everything is and it won't kill you to make some new friends(; ~Love Josh" Ha only if he knew the friends I made yesterday.
Well that definitely explained why he wasn't answering my calls or texts but I want to know what happened. I reread the note then got in my car and drove to school, since I didn't come on the first day of school I thought maybe I'd go talk to some teachers.
I decided to just talk to my first hour teacher, her name was Mrs.Reynolds, she teaches math. I was going to walk in til I heard her talking to someone, I know it's not good to eavesdrop but I had to.
"I don't know about that Shantel girl, I mean do you see who she's related to ?" " She doesn't seem to bad, she acts nothing like Anthony thank god, I don't think we could handle another one of him."
I recognized the first voice but I wasn't too sure.. It sounded a little like Josh but it couldn't be him, he won't be coming for the rest of the week. Maybe I'll just wait for them to come out ? Then I'll see who it is. Good thing my locker was right by her door.
I waited for 15 minutes til I saw the handle on her door start to turn, I tried making it seem like i just got there. As the teacher stepped out of her classroom I was opening my locker, it's very difficult to get open.
"Oh hey Shantel this is Mr.Sanchez, he'll be your new math teacher." Mrs.Reynolds explained to me as a man that was about 6 feet with the most gorgeous green eyes stepped out of her classroom.
I don't think I was going to mind the switch. He looked like he was fresh out of college and man was he muscular. Today should be fun.
