Huh .... whats happening ?

I see my house in front of me, the house that I lived since I was born..

Burning ..... is on fire

"Happy Birthday Ria !"

My mom and Dad said cheerfully on my room as I woke up, since I have many projects at school, I completely forgot it was my birthday today...

"Thanks you Mom, Dad, although waiting for me to wake up is kind of creepy" I said giggling but happy none a less.

"Your mother insisted to wait for you to wake up to greet you first thing in the morning" my father said which mom shrug it off...

Typical Mom :D

"We wanted to surprise you of course" my mom chirped

"We ?" Dad said, then mom gave dad The Look which [beyond all odds, whether its a fight or a debate between the two] Dad stayed silent. I can't help feeling loved by my parents, nothing beats the love of one's family.

"So shall we leave a give you time to get ready ? You still have school so invite your classmates to come over later for snacks, I'll be making pasta for you" my heart leap for joy ! I love pasta ! I gave my parents a nod and proceed to go to the bathroom.

After a fun filled two hours of prepping up I'm ready to go to school ! I said good bye to mom and dad and headed out to school !

[Lunch]

"Hey Guys wanna come over- I didn't finish my sentence til they said..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RIA !!!

Greeted by my three best friends, Kurumi, Jhonrad and Leon. I never felt so happy that both my parents and friends remember my birthday.

"Wow can't believe your seventeen now Ria, one more year and it's your debut !" Kurumi cried of joy while giving me a bone crushing hug.

"Easy there Kurumi, your goona kill Ria" Jhonrad laugh at the sight of my face.

"Yeah kurumi, let Ria live her birthday" Leon said taking a seat. Kurumi pout then release me. Thank God

"So um are you guys free today my parents are planning to celebrate my birthday?" Hoping they don't have any plans for today...

"Of course we'll go" Jhonrad said while eating a cupcake, "Hell yeah I'm coming" Kurumi giving me a thumbs up, "I cleared my schedule for you so of course I'm going" Leon said with a smirk. Aw my friends are the best.

"So about you present" Kurumi called waving her fork. "So I was thinking to give it to you another time, still couldn't find the perfect one" Going back to her carbonarra.

"It's fine really, you don't need to give me a gift" Smiling hope she backs down because just being with them is more than enough.

"Uh No ! Your getting your gift, in the right time ;) " Kurumi winked

And I swear whenever Kurumi makes a deceleration and winks, you know it will either help you or kill you. Gotta watch out for the 'present'

"Well speaking of presents, here yours" Jhonrad handed me a rectangular gift, I opened it and it's a Cherry Mobile !

"I know that this is your favorite phone that your saving up and I know how you really want it before it is sold so I bought it for you" Jhonrad said, I'm speechless for the gift but none the less I thanks Jhonrad for the wonderful gift.

"Well here is mine though, its not much" Leon gave me a rectangular gift box and when I opened it its a 'Card Against Humanity' .... "Well as far as I know your one of the most sarcastic and comedic person I know and I thought that this fits you perfectly.

I was holding a laugh because this gift really suits me, "Thanks Leon, I'll make sure to use this on you"

"Now I'm regretting buying that" Leon sulk

The three of us laugh at Leon's face.

[After School]

" Ready ?" I ask them

"Ready as I'll ever be" Jhonrad said

"Alright lets have some fun ! " Leon cheered

"Don't get too excited or might just punch you after you eat" Kurumi said in a deadly tone which made Leon shiver.

As we approach my house I notice that there's a lot of people getting worked up on something. Funny cuz its like they are going toward our house that's when we realize that there's smoke coming from our house. All four of us run toward the burning debris....

Huh .... whats happening ?

"MOM ,,,, DAD !!!!!!!!!"

I tried running towards the burning house to find my parents when Jhonrad and Leon restricted my arms, preventing me from moving, Kurumi hugged while covering my eyes to the nightmare I'm currently living.

"Don't look please Ria ... DON'T LOOK" Kurumi pleaded with all her voice crying.....

Me.... I don't how to feel.......... My life suddenly exploded.......

[After a few hours]

My parents are declared deceased .

Ria's last year didn't turn up the way she wanted, even if tragedy strikes, you gotta move on some way and some day. Hope you guys like this Chapter.
