ERIDAN'S POV

Goddamn soul stealin shingami thinks he can kiss my flush crush and get away with it? I think not. I heard Stein's doin' some sorta partner project. There is no way i wont get paired with Ara. Take that, you little OCD loser.

The class took their seats. "Yes, the rumors are true, we are doing a partner project. I will read off the partners now."

"Lets see now, Maka and Black Star, Soul and Liz, Tsubaki and Patty, Crona and Eridan, and Kid and Aradia."

WHAT?!?! HOW WAS SHE PAIRED WITH HIM?!?! And who was crona anyway?

"Uhh... Hi... Eridan. Im... Im Crona... Your partner." Said a pink haired kid dressed in all black.

"Wwhy are you so shy?"

"I-I'm so sorry! I just... Dont know how to deal with people..."

"You're not the only one. Its alright, i wwont hurt you."

I kept my eyes on Kid and Aradia, who was giggling at some witty joke Kid said. I felt my face getting warmer, i felt like i was going to cry.

"Hey are you okay?"

"Yeah... Its nothin."

"You can tell me... If you want to.."

I sighed. "Alright, fine. I havve a thing for Aradia, but i feel like i dont evven havve a chance wwith her... I think she likes that OCD loser, Kid."

Crona screamed. Something came out of his back and stood on his shoulder.

"Ragnarok, nooo. Not now." Crona whined.

"WELL, LET ME JUST SAY. ITS GONNA BE HARD COMPETING AGAINST LORD DEATH'S ONLY SON. BUT YOU NEED TO TELL HER HOW YOU FEEL. KISS HER AGAIN MAYBE? I DONT KNOW. THIS ISNT MY PROBLEM. NAMES RAGNAROK, BY THE WAY."

"Yes, my blood is black. When lady Medusa created me, she created me to be a meister with a weapon as my blood. Sometimes i dont think i could deal with that..."

My eyes were locked on Aradia. They were now holding hands. Both of Aradia's hands were intertwined with Kid's. Even when holding hands, he likes to be symmetrical.

Then i let it sink in.

Kid made his move on Aradia.

And worst of all,

She said yes.

Well, who needs her? Im Eridan gogdamn AMPORA.

That was a rhetorical question. I needed her. I ran out of them room in tears. Crona followed after me. This Crona kid wasnt so bad after all.
