He instantly picked her up and hugged her. Scarlett allowed him to hug her closer. Not putting her down Peirce realized she couldn't breathe. "Sorry Scarlett. Here are the keys to your place," said Peirce putting her down.
"Night Pierce." She whispered to him. Watching him go through the front room window. "Wow sis what a show!" squealed Sophia. Sophia came running up and giving Scarlett a hug. "I thought I'd lose you forever! Mother and father are ... gone, I'm sorry."
"Wait! Mom and Dad are gone! We're closer to dad than mom, dad promised us he'd be around for grad." At those words they wept till sleep. Knock, Knock, Knock. Ring, Ring, Ring. Sophia and Scarlett heard the noise but they are so tired.
"Hey Scarlett and Sophia this is Pierce! Answer the dang door I still got keys, are you guys alright." Spoke the voice mail. Scarlett got up first and got dressed. Sophia went up stair slow. "Scarlett and Sophia here, just leave a voice mail. Loveeee Nadira twins!" said the old voice mail down stairs.
"HEY PIERCE HERE! Coming in." spoke joyful Pierce. Sophia and Scarlett came down together after a minute. "Let's change our voice mail," they agreed. "Nadira Twins here. Our parents have died heading home after GRADUATION. Love Sophia and Scarlett Nadira." They shouted together.
As they turned around Pierce wide eyed. "You're heading home after graduation. Why? I thought you were going to stay here in Texas and never head home."
