Her Scars:

Every day I look at her in awe of how the hell she could ever pick me. Honestly,I couldn't wish for anybody better. I couldn't change a thing,she was perfect and she was mine.

"I wouldn't change anything,you're perfect just the way you are!" I'd say.

"What about my eyes?" She'd say playfully. But no they were perfect in mine. The way she'd gaze into them just left me wanting her more and more.

"What about my smile?" She'd say smiling jokefully. But no. Her smile was beautiful,it made me smile. It reflected onto me,if she smiled,I smiled.

"What about my lips?" She'd say giggling. But no. Her lips were so irresistible,so kissable.

"What about my scars?" She'd say..frowning. But no. Her scars made her who she was.

I grabbed her wrist and gently kissed each one of her scars. "They're not scars," I'd say. "They're life's little marks on you. Look," I pulled up my own sleeve. "I have them too."

She frowned.

"They're not scars silly," I said stroking her cheek softly. "Sometimes life just gets to you,and when it does it leaves a little mark that shows you've passed through a rough patch."

"But they're ugly!" She cried.

"Only to those who's life is perfect," I reassured, "to me they're beautiful,they show you're strong"

She looked up into my eyes.

"And they'll fade baby,but they will never disappear."

She broke my glance and pulled down her sleeve.

"They'll be there forever?" She asked.

"Yes..but so will I," I replied.

She looked up,smiling.

"Together?" She asked,grabbing my hand.

"Forever."
