In his arms

The stars twinkled in the dark night above her, the darkness carried a sense of contentment along with the winter chills.

She was lying on the flush green grass of the ground with a blanket wrapped around her, her friends were all playing and dancing around the bonfire but she wasn't with them, instead of it she considered to be alone for some time, alone so that she could think of her Ghonchu, her love, who was away on the other side of the ground, putting up tents and was looking after the food that was being made. As she gazed at the star field she got drowned in her memories, memories that were strangely filled with nothing but her and Ghonchu. Their conversations on random topics, their mindless teasing, their goofiness and all that she could remember. Suddenly she saw a silhouette of someone approaching her, she wished that it was him and granted it was him, who was heading in her direction. He came to a stop upon reaching her and extended a hand towards her. Letting the blanket fall, without questioning she held his hand and allowed him to pull her up in his embrace. Her hands crawled up his chest and finally encircled a his neck, pulling him closer so there was no space for even air to pass through. The warmth that he was radiating was enough to make her feel safe and giddy with happiness, she hugged him as tightly as she could, as simultaneously she wished to stay in his arms forever. She felt content when he kissed her forehead in adoration. They stood there in silence which spoke volumes. Slowly untangling them she picked up the blanket and tugged at his hand, leading them in the direction of the floating mirror which was nearby, he agreed wordlessly and walked with her. Upon reaching the lake they sat at its side. She rested her head on his shoulder while he wrapped an arm around her protectively. They both were quite glad that they came to this trip as in school they couldn't get enough time to spend with each other, but now here in Kullu-Manali they were satisfied, after all they were together all most every moment. They gazed at the reflection of the star field above, when all of a sudden her ghonchu laid down and pulled her along and covered them in the blanket. She curled up his side and perched her head on his chest listening to the steady beats of his heart. I like you ghonchu!, He whispered looking at her, tilting her head up her eyes shone brightly at his words, I like you too my ghonchu!, she replied and pecked his cheek. He held her in his arms while they talked endlessly on any topics that popped up in their mind. Suddenly they heard their names being called out. Get back here you two love birds, called their friends. Chuckling they stood up, picked up their blanket and started walking in the direction of their friends. Set up your tents guys so that we can head over to the dining arena, suggested their squad and dispersed away to do their respective chores.

He nodded his head in the direction of the folded up tent that was resting a few feet away from them. He walked up to it and started setting it up. Getting the hint she also started helping him. They had already decided that they would set up their tent in the centre of the ground unlike the others who were having their tents around the boundary. She absolutely loved when they could understand what the other was trying to say even without voicing a word. Working together their tent was up in seconds. Together they brought all the necessities that they needed inside the tent. Soon after, they walked hand in hand towards the wooden benches that were settled for eating dinner. Seeing them nearing their friends again started singing romantic songs, teasing them intentionally but the couple didn't mind that a bit after all they were happy together. The time passed up in eating and chattering with their squad and soon it was time for everyone to retreat back to their tents.

After biding their farewells to everyone. They again made their way back to their temporary abode. They huddled inside together and zipped up the tent, the temperature was dropping at a fast rate. They laid down on the make shift bed that they had created. Intertwining their fingers they were again in silence though it was a comfortable one. You know ghonchu, she started, Us, being together almost seems surreal but I know it is a reality, a reality which is meant to be. I never had imagined that we would be together like this but now that we are I don't ever want us to be apart. You are the one about whom I think when I wake up, you are my motivation for getting up every day in the morning, to talk to you, to be with you in school. Hardly there is a thought in my mind that doesn't revolves around you, It's like you are the only one my eyes would like to see, the only voice my ears would love to hear. I had never felt this way with anybody and I know that I never will, I just want to be with you through every humps and bumps in life, nothing else, nothing more. I am scared of future but being with you always gives me hope, a hope that yes, we are going to make it to forever, I am starting to look for you in my every action, I am starting to look for you in my every dream, I have started depending on you and that is a thing that I usually don't do yet I am smiling on just the thought of it, I trust you ghonchu, and I like you a lot.

Overwhelmed by her confession, he replied, I like you too my ghonchu more than you will ever know. I had always liked you but I was scared that I will be rejected but now that I am with you I feel content. I have a little problem in expressing but don't you ever forget that you are the only one who resides in my heart. I will always be with you in your sadness and happiness, through thick and thin, in your health and sickness, always supporting you, always looking after you. You are mine, precious, only mine and I am selfish as I won't share you with anyone so you have to bear with it.

I don't have a problem with that my ghonchu, I am happy being yours, she said while hovering above him. When suddenly he snaked his arms around her waist and pulled her down on him. Her face landed in the crook of his neck while he hugged her tightly. Resting her forehands on his shoulders, she lifted her head and stared at him with eyes full of feelings. You are mine ghonchu, I can't ever afford to lose you! At his words she leaned down and grazed her lips with his. His eyes went wide at her actions as he tightened his hold around her waist. She took the lead and firmly pressed her lips against his. His hands crawled up her back and entangled in her hairs, pulling her even closer if it was possible. She glowed with the satisfaction and encircled his neck.

Suddenly he broke the kiss and flipped them over, and rested himself between her legs while she locked her legs behind his waist. He kissed her fervently, the desire that had been held in for weeks, weeks that felt like months and years, flowed out. She held him tight against her, afraid that is she will lose him, if she let go. The emotions that they weren't able to express, were demonstrated at last. They didn't know for how long they kissed but they felt content in each other's caress. Finally letting go each other they laid down side by side, breathing heavily. When swiftly her ghonchu turned her around and hugged her, pulling her to his chest. Sighing with happiness, she came closer to him and rested her head on his chest. I like you ghonchu! She whispered in his ears. He looked down at her, pecked her lips and said the same words to her, making her feel euphoric. Scooting closer, they held each other and slept the night. Waiting for a future that held many surprises, a future that held them in it, and a future that they have dreamed together.
