Let me introduce myself I'm Austin. Austin Mahone. I just moved from Dallas Texas

Yesterday to San Antonio Texas. I have a passion for singing and dancing, but mostly singing. I've made some covers but I don't have the guts to put them on YouTube.

Austins POV.

---7:00 pm---

"Austin! hurry up we will be leaving in about 30 minutes for the dinner!" My mom yelled.

We got invited to go to dinner over at the next door neighbours house. Earlier this morning a girl named Kendall knocked on our door and introduced herself and told me where she lived and invited us.

Ugh I have nothing to wear! I want to look nice but I really don't know why I care. I think it's because that Kendall girl. The way her curls bounce and the way her eyes sparkle makes me just melt. I picked out a navy blue and white stripped shirt . And a pair of light blue denim jeans. Then I threw on my Spurs SnapBack, and slipped on my grey Air Jordan's and ran quickly down the stairs.

"We'll I can see u are ready!" My mom said while smiling and laughing. I just rolled my eyes and asked her if we could go since it was 7:29 pm.

I was walking across the street when I felt my heart pounding faster and faster. My hands got sweaty and I started to shake a little. Was I nervous? What was happening? why was I nervous? There's nothing to be nervous about. It's just a girl and her family. I honestly have nothing to worry about. Or at least that's what I thought.

---Dinner Time---

*ding dong* the door bell rang

Kendall's mom and dad opened the door. "Why hello there! I'm Mrs. Steel but you can call me Lacey. And this is Mr. Steel but u can call him Chris." Mrs. Steel said In perky voice. "We'll I'm Ms. Mahone but u can call me Michelle, and this my son Austin!" My mom said at the door way. "Hello." I said shyly looking down at my feet.

"Well please come in!" Mr. Steel said. We walked in and my mom started talking with Kendall's parents. "Oh Austin Kendall is up in her room if you'd like to go learn more about her." Mrs. Steel said. "Okay thank you" I said with a gulp.

I walked up the long stairs and found a door that was decorated with Kendall's name on it. I heard music blasting from the room and pounding on the floor, it sounded like she was jumping.

I wondered what she was doing until I heard a loud thump! I opened the door to see what was going on. I didn't think she knew I was in her room because she kept dancing. But it wasn't like real dancing it looked more like a cheer leading routine. Was she a cheer leader? I kept watching and she's really good. She was doing all of these really cool cheer moves like toe touches and Herkeys. I was impressed. Then she was doing back handsprings and back tucks! That's what that loud noise was!! Haha. The music ended and she flipped her hair and sighed. It was silent she still didn't know I was in there. So I clapped my hand together applauding her for her routine. She looked up and saw me clapping and smiled.

Kendall's POV.

Did Austin see that who's routine I did?! Man he's really sneaky I didn't know he was in here.

"Hi and umm thanks" I said chuckling.

"Hey your really talented" he said nervously.

"Haha thanks. Umm how long have u been in here?!" I said curiously.

"Ever since I heard that really loud thump. I thought u fell or something like that!!" He said loudly.

"Nope.... Didn't fall!" I said jokingly

I was a cheer leader at Lady Bird Jonson High School I was on the Varsity cheer leading team. I wasn't cheer captain but I was still pretty good. That's what everyone told me.

"So I guess your a cheer leader?" Austin asked.

"Yeah, I'm on the Varsity Cheer Leading team." I said proudly.

"Wow that's cool. I could never do all that stuff u just did! And why were u doing that dance in the middle of UR bedroom floor?" He asked.

"we'll I'm trying out for a spot on a competitive cheer leading squad and I really want to make it so I'm always practicing." I said with a sigh after wards.

"Ohh" he said.

"So what are your hobbies?" I asked interested.

"We'll I sing and dance, but I sing more. I've made some covers and saved them on my computer but I'm to scared to put them on YouTube because I'm scared that they won't like me and leave me hate comments." I said looking down at my lap.

"I'll be the judge of that!" I said loudly and proud.

"What do u mean by that?!" Austin asked concerned.

"Sing something for me to see if your any good!" I said.

"Fine. Promise you won't laugh?" Austin said worried and shy.

"Why would I laugh?" I said.

"Okay here I go" he yelled.

He sang Bruno Mars- It Will Rain.

"Every day it will rain, rain, raaaa--aaaaiii-aaaaaiiii-ane-ane-ane." He finished and I was speechless and sitting there probably looking like an idiot with my mouth dropped down the floor.

"Your really good!! Why don't u post those videos on YouTube??!" I said impressed.

"We'll I ju-" he said getting cut off by moms yelling.

"KIDS DINNER IS READY!!" My mom yelled.

Meredith, Andrew, Amanda, Austin and I stormed down the stairs starving.

As dinner flew by we all talked. About my cheer leading, Austin's singing, Meredith's and Amanda's volleyball and Andrews pre-school.

"So what school do you go to Kendall?" Ms. Mahone asked me.

"Johnson High School." I said while trying to put food in my mouth.

"Really? That's the one Austin will be going to! Now he will actually know someone!!!"Nashe said happily

"We'll thank you for dinner Lacey it was delicious. We both enjoyed it." Ms. Mahone said to my family.

"Well thank you for coming and we appreciate it." My parents said.

"Thankyou and bye. We should do this some other time." Ms. Mahone said

"We should do this again. Bye!!!" My parents said.

They walked out the door and I thought about Austin the rest of the night. I really like him. (As a friend) he's sweet, funny, and nice. And the way his Hazel eyes sparkle and the way his hair flips. Wait. What?! No!! I have a boyfriend. That's something I forgot to tell you guys. Yes I have a boy friend.
