"Hyuuunng" Jimin whines to his boyfriend.
"What." Yoongi deadpans while taking a bite of his toast.
"I wanna go to the nursery!" He exclaims, jumping up and down like a child.
"But we just went two days ago." It's him this time who whines. He stands up from where he was leaning on the island in their kitchen.
"Pleeeaassee?" Jimin looks up at his boyfriend with pleading eyes.
Yoongi huffs. "Fine."
Overly excited, Jimin picks Yoongi up from behind in a tight hug. He then quickly sets him back down on the floor, and rushes to put on his favorite light blue Converse.
"Why do you even still have those?" Yoongi grumbles with his mouth full of toast. "They're old, and dirty, and well, they're Converse" he scrunches up his face in disgust.
Jimin just smiles and replies without looking up. "Because, hyung, I happen to like the color and they look good on me."
"Uh, okay." Yoongi says.
Jimin shoots a glare at the blonde boy, which only makes Yoongi chuckle and sticks his tongue out at the younger.
Shrugging a light jacket on, Jimin opens the door to his and Yoongi's shared apartment and stomps into the hallway as if he was upset about his boyfriend's earlier comment on his appearance.
Yoongi sighs in defeat as he closes and locks the door to their home, and jogs down the hallway to meet up with his boyfriend.
They've been dating for 3 years now, and in all that time the excitement and affection of the relationship hasn't faded a bit. Yoongi has trouble some of the time keeping up with his always-optimistic boyfriend, but that's what he was attracted to in the first place. Jimin's happiness. Every time he would see Jimin's smile, the more sure he became about his love for him. Although he's not always the clingy, fluffy, elated boyfriend that Jimin prefers, he knows that the younger loves him just the same.
Jimin slows his stomping in case of the other people living around him were to come out and yell at him for making so much noise. He was NOT good with confrontation.
On one occasion, Yoongi and himself were carrying groceries back to their apartment when Jimin dropped a bag in front of the door of an 83 year old woman's place. Since it was full of cans, it made a pretty loud noise. She came out yelling what Jimin could only assume were Spanish profanities, and he got hit on the head with her cane. Days after that incident, he refused to go into the hallway in fear that he would run into her again. That cane hurt.
He shivered just remembering the frightful scene.
Suddenly, pair of arms wrapped around him and he was enveloped in a back hug from an apologetic Yoongi. Of course, Jimin wasn't actually upset at the sort of insult he received from his boyfriend, but he liked the attention he was getting and so he figured he would keep up his act.
"I'm sorry for insulting your shoes you big baby." Yoongi mumbles.
"Hey!" Jimin says in mock offense.
"Accept the apology, already. I don't want to keep standing in the hallway hugging you like this. I'm not trying to get hit with a cane like you did. " Yoongi laughs, then asks, "I thought you really wanted to go to the nursery? Because we don't have to go if you just wanna pout over your Converse." He ends with another chuckle and squeezes Jimin a little tighter.
"I do! I do. Okay, I accept your apology." He says.
"Converse hater" he quickly adds.
Yoongi suddenly lets go of Jimin's midsection and races down the hall singing behind him, "I'm leaving without you!"
