"What do you mean the rent went up again...$7,000 a month No no no that's way to expensive we can't afford that... I'm gonna have to get a second job River this is crazy we can't afford let alone let are parents know we can't afford are house do you know how long it took for them to agree for us to move to Canada A Year and if we go back there now saying my we don't have the money to pay for are house we are gonna have to stay with them.... Oh my gosh this is horrible well I'm leaving the campus now I'll be home in fifteen to thirty minutes.. Okay bye."
Nikki left the campus driving home worried all the way home what happens if she can't find a second job that pays well what happens if River can find a job that pays well. What if they have to sell there house to get money to by a different house. All of these thoughts ran through Nikki's head while she was driving home.
"Okay River we have to talk about this what are we going to do about th-"Nikki said when walking through the door of their house and then trailed of when she saw River sitting there with two guys and one girl.
"What is this?" Nikki said then got big eyes dropped her bag jogged over to River grabbed her arm and drug her into the living room next to the kitchen and said.
"Please tell me your not having sex with them for money if that's why they are here for tell them to leave ill quit college and get a full time job just please don't do this i beg you"
"No Nikki are you crazy" River said dragging Nikki into the kitchen with her.
"This is Ryan,Star and Justin.. When i got off the phone with you i got this great idea we have six bedrooms in this house and there is only two of us why not have three roommates to live with us and help pay the rent" River continued
"Wait did you say roommates River we don't even know them they could be serial killers or rapist for all we know" Nikki said getting some strange looks from the three of them.
"Wow i can tell shes stuck up" Justin said under his breath and Nikki gave him a strange look
"Really Nikki rapists and serial killers what are we on law and order. They go to college to the same one you do except for Ryan he finished last year."
"I don't know this is a good idea River it just doesn't feel right."
"Hey we don't bite trust me i'm not a rapist nor serial killer." Justin said placing a hand on Nikki's shoulder
"Don't touch me." Nikki said quite but loud enough for him to hear. Justin removed his hand from Nikki's shoulder
"Okay fine but here are a some rules you three little pigs better understand or your out
1. Don't touch any of my stuff.
2. Don't go in my room.
3. Don't talk to me unless i talk to you.
and 4. DON'T EVER Touch Me
Got it." Nikki said looking at all of them but at Justin the most when she said don't ever touch me with the most serious look ever and with that Nikki walked over grabbed her bag and walked up the stairs
"Im Soo sorry she can be a bitch sometimes" River said to everyone
"I see" Justin said and everyone laughed
Nikki stayed up stairs most of the night doing what ever Nikki does until River walked up stairs
"Hey" River said walking into Nikki's room
Nikki looked up and didn't say anything then looked back down at her laptop
"Are you mad?" River asked but still no response from Nikki
"I'm sorry it's the best i came up with because i know how much you love school and i thought this would be the best way" River said
"Its okay you did what you had to do i'm just embarrassed at how i acted down there i don't know what gotten into me i have just had a long and tiring day at school it was a lot more stressful today then it usually is." Nikki said
"How about you come down with me and we can order a pizza half pineapple and green peppers and the other half-"
"Black olives and pepperoni" Nikki said cutting river off
Nikki and River walked down stairs order pizza. When Nikki got off the phone she walked into the living room where the three where
"Hey" Nikki said and they looked at her then looked back down
"Listen i'm so sorry how i acted today i usually don't act like that and i'm embarrassed at how i acted and i wanted to say how sorry i was "
"I forgive you" Star said
"Yeah i do too" Ryan said
Nikki looked over at Justin and Justin looked at the other too then back at Nikki
"I guess i forgive you too i cant be mad at a pretty girl like you" Justin said and Nikki blushed
"Okay thanks you guys so much me and River ordered pizza a little bit ago it should be here anytime if you guys want some" Nikki said then turned around slowly then walked away into the kitchen.
Later that night the pizza man came they got there pizza and all shared it then after that played some games then watched a movie a during the movie Justin switched spots next to Nikki and put his arm around her she looked at him and smiled and put her head on his chest smiling thinking to herself that shes falling for Justin some guy she just met earlier this morning but she didn't care at all because he made her feel safe and sound all tight in his arms.
