Vampire! Erza x Jellal
Lucy x Jellal (?!) (Nah XD)

Maybe OOC, because I'm just using names from Fairytail. I don't own FT, of course. If I did, Erza and Jellal would be cannon a thousand years ago.

... don't judge ._.

Jellal was the Prince of Fiore, son of the Great and Honoured King Macarov Dreyar.

He enjoyed reading books in his kingdom library, about historical legends, fantasties and 'make-believe' creatures.

He read so much he needed glasses. If his friend Natsu, a noble son from another nearby kingdom, hadn't visited him and made him come out to explore, Jellal would have probably stayed in everyday.

It was a blessing in disguise. Jellal found a great interest in nature and the mysteries it held. He was not a big fan of catching bugs like Natsu, however.

One day he wandered into the forest of his land. He wanted to see if he could find any of the plants mentioned in this new book he found.

Searching determinedly, Jellal lost track of his way and time. Before he knew it, it was becoming dark.

"Oh no..." he muttered to himself. How was he going to find his way back home?

Suddenly he heard rustling in the bushes. Jellal spun around, his eyes darting around wildly. What was that?

He swallowed nervously. This wasn't good...

He somehow felt someone watching him.

Suddenly something lunged at him from the trees. Jellal screamed, and held up his hands instinctively. He felt a stab of pain and he blacked out.

When he awoke, he was facing an unfamiliar ceiling. Springing up, he studied his surroundings. There was a stinging sensation on his hands and face.

Where am I? What is this place? Panicked thoughts filled Jellal's head.

"Hey, slow down there, pretty boy."

He heard a feminine voice from behind him. Jellal looked back, and before him was the most beautiful woman Jellal had ever seen.

Her hair was scarlet. She was wearing a purple dress which seemed rather revealing on the front, to Jellal's opinion. Red shoes adored her feet.

But her eyes were what caught Jellal's attention. They were a bright, bloody red.

"Who... where am I? Who are you?" Jellal asked with a scratchy voice.

The red-haired woman shifted closer to Jellal. Jellal felt embarrassed being so close to such a lovely lady, and he could feel his face heating up. The fact that she smelled really good didn't help Jellal's feelings.

"Shouldn't you give someone your name first before asking?" The lady said, batting her long eyelashes.

"O-Oh... I'm sorry. My name is Jellal... what's yours?" Jellal tried not to seem ashamed, but he did feel truly sorry for being rude. As a prince, he was taught manners and speaking properly. He did not like that he had forgetten his composure in front of a lady.

The lady smiled and answered, "Jellal... that's a nice name."

Jellal ignored his hot face, and asked quietly, "Are... are you a princess?"

The lady widened her eyes, seeming genuinely surprised for a moment. Then she burst out laughing and said, "Me? A princess? Well..."

Then she winked. "Maybe."

Jellal felt confused. What did she mean by that? You were either a princess or you were not, right?

"Um... I'm a prince. I'm the Prince of Fiore. It's a place not too far from this forest," Jellal said. He wondered if the lady would then recognise him.

But to his surprise, the red-haired lady didn't seem to react.

"Fiore? I'm sorry, I don't... well, my people don't mix themselves with the... humans," the lady said.

That baffled Jellal even more. "What... what do you mean? You don't know... Fiore? Your people doesn't mix themselves with the humans? What do you mean?" Jellal started asking more and more.

The lady stood up and bent down to Jellal's face.

"I'm just going to be straight here... you see, I'm a vampire."
