*a day later*
Sabrina’s P.O.V
Sabrina walked downstairs feeling immensely pleased with herself. Not a lot of 15 year old girls could make a wedding sized cake out of stuff that tasted like the exact opposite of what it should. In the process of making the cake she had done 5 tests runs 4 of them successes. So, she was nearly positive that the cake would turn into a success (the first attempt had been a fail because Sabrina had assumed that all the ingredients were exactly what they said they were). When she walked downstairs to find her beautiful perfect wedding sized cake being eaten by that fairy pig, well she thought she might explode.
“PUCK GET YOUR HANDS OFF DAPHNE’S CAKE RIGHT NOW!” He jumped back and without a second thought Sabrina grabbed the remaining cake and using the platter threw it at his face. Pixie hadn’t been expecting it and so the shot was a lucky hit.
“What the-”
“DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH WORK I PUT INTO THAT THING!? AND YOU- YOU JUST ATE IT! I’M GOING TO KILL YOU!” Again Sabrina attacked him this time jumping on top of him and wrestling him surprised at how much stronger he was. They wrestled and Puck finally got a grip of her forcing her underneath him. “Get off me,” she growled.
“No,” he laughed. How dare he! “I don’t think I will. Who knows what you would do if I let you go.”
“Really? Well what are you going to do? You’ve already trapped me,” ha she thought answer that. Unfortunately (in Sabrina’s case) he did. Leaning forward making her think that he was going to kiss her he quickly grabbed some cake lying on the ground and shoved into her face. Now Puck might have won this war had he not foolishly got off a very angry Sabrina and not been on guard. Without hesitating she jumped onto her feet and grabbed the nearest pot.
“You better run you pig because if I get close enough I won’t be scared to hit you in the face with this!” They ran around the island in the kitchen and after 5 minutes the rest of the family watched in complete surprise.
Finally Granny spoke. “Libeling’s', what are you doing!” Puck stopped runnig thankful for his savior. Sabrina didn’t stop and managed to smack into Puck and hit him in the face with the pan. Good, she thought. Served him right. Puck fell down and didn’t get up. Ha, there was no way Sabrina was falling for that again. “I think you knocked him out Sabrina.” Granny looked worriedly at Puck who was still lying there unconsciously.
“Granny! Don’t you remember last time when he did this? He’s obviously pretending. Watch I’ll kick him in the side and he’ll leap into action…” She prepared herself to kick hoping no one would intervene, unfortunately they did.
“Sabrina Grimm, don’t you dare! Grab that bowl of water and spray it on him. That should wake him up.” Disappointed that she couldn’t kick him she reluctantly poured the water on Puck and watched him wake up and gag. Slowly he turned his head and Sabrina was surprised to find him glaring at Daphne, “Are you happy Grimm? You’ve gotten your revenge but I promise you that I will get you back!” A coughing sound interrupted them and Sabrina turned around to face Daphne who looked very, very happy.
Daphne’s P.O.V
She stared at the two teenagers arguing. This was just, way too good. Unfortunately before Daphne could even unleash her master plan to get Puck and Sabrina together, Uncle Jake came running in his face as white as paper.
“Uncle Jake, what’s wrong?” She looked at him nervously and bit her hand.
“Briar-Scarlett Hand-giant…GAH!” He fell down and Sabrina once again poured water into the pot and onto his face to revive him. When he opened his eyes Daphne quickly ran over and grabbed a chair.
“Sit down, and explain. It looks like we have a huge problem but don’t worry Uncle Jake, we can solve it!” In her best detective voice she quickly took a seat beside him and waited patiently for him to stop gasping and explain.
“Ok,” gasp, “as you know I was planning to bring Briar over for Daphne’s birthday right. We were going to give you the present together since we’re married and we well, details can be explained later. Anyways,” he gasped again and ran a hand through his hair, “I had left Briar for only 15 minutes when I heard her scream.” His face was quickly going white again. “When I got to the room where she was in (gasp) all I saw was a gigantic hand reaching in and grabbing my Briar and oh my God!” He started to sweat and Granny patted him on the back. “Wait, I’m not done! The giant had a small mark on his hand, the scarlet hand and the last thing Briar said to me before the giant ran away was Florida, so my best guess is that that’s where they’re going.”
After having said it all Uncle Jake seemed a lot more relieved.
“Let’s get this straight,” Granny Relda said obviously trying to stay calm and hide her worry for Briar. With a notebook she had whisked out of her pocked she wrote down with Jakes’ nods.
Mystery Case
-Briar was taken by the scarlet hand
-giant appeared to have taken her
-she said Florida, so we believe she’s in Florida
Daphne added in with her slightly less neat writing to the note;
-we’re unsure of what they want with her or what they will do to her
“Good job libeling, I always knew you’d be a good detective.” Despite the obvious stress everyone was under (even Sabrina and Puck had stopped arguing) Granny managed to smile at Daphne. “Well,” she said, “everyone grab your coats don’t bother packing bags we’ll buy clothes there. We’re going to Florida and everyone in the car in about,” she glanced quickly at her watch, “5 minutes!”
