CHAPTER TWO
AffairsPirouette was lying down next to me on my bed, talking about some show he watched on the television in the entertainment room. Aiden and Vernon were whispering to each other on the floor in front of me. I was listening to Pirouette, but honestly, it's getting boring. I'd like to see BTS for myself, though. The way Pirouette describes them makes me drool. Jaw lines that can cut through walls, smiles that light up the night, does it not sound appealing?
"Andie." Aiden piped up. "Oh, yeah?" He nodded at the door, as if to tell me to get out. I rolled my eyes and stood up to leave, and to my surprise, Aiden got up too. Vernon seemed to be as confused as I am. "I was talking to Andie about Bangtan." Pirouette frowned. "Whatever, since it's you, Aiden, you can take her." Aiden simply chuckled and turned away, walking ahead of me.
I followed behind him, smoothing my white tank top. The second we turned out into the hallway, Aiden slammed me against the wall. I winced and bowed my head that was ringing. His hands gripped at my arms, his gaze was firm and.. desperate? Does that even match? Aiden heaved a loud sigh and pressed his forehead against mine, his breath fanning against my lips.
"Andie, I really, really need to know something." He said, eyes locked on my feet. "My eyes are up here, not on my toes." He reluctantly lifted his head, staring into my eyes uncertainly. "I know this isn't the best place or time, but I want to know if... You um," He began stuttering, not able to find the right words to fit what he wanted to say. "Jesus Christ, Aiden. Spit it out." I scoffed.
His Adam's apple bobbed as he gulped down a lump in his throat. "You know, when we hooked up a few weeks ago." My eyes widened in surprise. "You didn't catch any feelings for me, right?" My hands flew up in defense, pressing against his chest to push him away. "Whoa, that was a one time thing."
"We've gone to bed together twice, Andie." He blinked. "Shut up, what I mean is, that was just for fun." I stated, crossing my arms over my chest. Aiden ruffled his jet black hair, smiling sheepishly. "Right, sorry. I just forgot to tell you this since it always slips my mind."
Tilting my head curiously, I narrowed my eyes at him. "I um, actually have someone outside waiting for me." Snorting, I nodded. "That's it? It's no surprise, Aiden." He stared at me as if I was a goddess that he idealized or something. "You're not mad or anything?" How could I be upset? Weird kid.
"Why should I?" He shrugged, his usual devious smile returning. "I was just worried that you fell for me. Not many people can resist this face." He winked. We shared a laugh and I began bugging him about to tell me his woman as he went back into our room, Pirouette and Vernon wrestling each other on the floor. "Vernon, Imma kill your lions!" Pirouette taunted. "I'll steal your jams!" Vernon countered, his eyes literally sparkling with flames. "I have anything but jams and virginity!" The redhead retorted.
Aiden and I shared a knowing look. "Pirouette, you never had jams." Vernon said seriously, and all of a sudden, it looked like a movie scene. "I know, but couldn't you have given me some?" Pirouette cried. "If I gave you my jams, I would have none." The elder smiled, imitating a wise old man.
"Don't go all mathematical on me, asshole." Pirouette snapped. "I have jams, more jams than you." He pointed his finger at Vernon with a smirk. "Are you sure?" Vernon's expression was unreadable, blank. "Yeah. So, Andie, what did you two talk about?" I shrugged as Aiden smirked, obviously he's gonna be a joker. "We just shared a kiss. Or two." Pirouette gasped dramatically.
