Exitment ruins everything

Lora grabbed her bag and took the keys. She locked the door of the apartment and lifted the latch to make sure that the lock was properly locked or not.

Lora reached the main road of New Orleans. She took her phone and checked the address,where the interview will be held. She gazed at the address for a minute but all in her mind was confusion. Cause she has never lived in New Orleans neither has visited. So she decided to take a cab.

It wasn't that difficult to get a cab, in the busy road full of traffic.as soon as she got in she showed the address to the driver and he giggled in a weird way. At the mean time there was a blank page at lora's face.

"WTF!!!! Can't you see i am late, so I don't have endless time for your stupid jokes"Lora expelled the truth in a reckless manner.
"Dear it's the building over there"the driver said with concern as he pointed his index finger towards the building in front of them.
"Idiot"Lora whispered dedicating the word to her self.
"Ah!!! Sorry ! I am new here so I don't know much about........... Also I don't have time to explain... Sorry to waste your time." Lora said politely with embarrassment.

Lora got her self out of the cab.and begun to walk.
The pace of her foot steps wasn't suitable for the high heels that she wore, but she kept the same peace cause she was already late.

Lora arrived the reception of the building exactly ten minutes later than the actual time. So she opened her mouth to explain everything, but something broke in. It was a deep but a gentle voice of a man.A man dressed in a black suit and he looks damn hot in it !!he wasn't that old but his face shows that he must be above twenty five maybe twenty seven.

"Miss Laurel Blake! Don't you think you are a bit early for your interview and look at all those clothes are you going for a teen party or for an entertainment show"he asked with an awkward stare also with a hope for a proper answer.
"I apologize for being late...... And I can explain" Lora tried to convince him in a polite way.
But the polite way didn't match the way she was dressed.
" oh! Then what about those sleeveless and tight jeans probably not acceptable" he said in an old British accent.
"Sorry you can't have the job so can you please leave now"he added and changed his direction towards the elevator.

Lora was still gasp and astonished about her excitement which had already ruined her interview.
Lora didn't argue, however something was burning inside her. Like fire the anger.......

Hey !! Thank you for reading my story!!!! I am sorry I still haven't introduced the hero I mean klaus !!! Oh I doubt that he is the hero but you guys will find out it soon but I promise that there will be klaus in my next chapter !!! I already wrote it I 🙋🏻just need enough time to publish !!!🤖😀✌🏽
