New Neighbour

Chapter 2 // new neighbour

I decided to lock myself from everyone, but it doesnt mean I'm giving up. Mino's family moved to Japan after Mino's death and now the house is empty. It's hard for me. I keep on blaming myself for his death. He lost his life, I broke his family's heart and I lost a precious friend.

It was 7am and I felt like skipping school today, I went back to bed in peace but something very loud woke me up

"Niceee, I'll take this room mom!" A girly but male's voice complimented.

"Is someone moving today?" I said to myself, I rushed to the window to check.

"Who are you?" I snapped.

"Oh good morning! I'm Wang Yuan aka Roy aka your new neighbour starting from now on, what's your name? I told you mine" He grinned.

I could already tell that his personality is lively and he talks a lot. He was smiling for the whole time while waiting for me to answer.

"In who's place are you to know my name" I answered coldly.

"Hmmm.. you're right but I'm your new neighbour so as your neighbour? We live very closely to eachother and we can actually talk from the window!" He said while smiling, gosh his smile is annoying me. How can someone's teeth be that white?

He talks to me with a smile plastered on his face. I can no longer smile brightly after Mino's death. I talk to everyone with my signature poker face and I answer everyone with my also, signature cold tone.

"By the way, I should get ready for school. Nice talking to you!" He said then closing the window.

I knew that I'm not going to be able to fall asleep again so I just went downstairs to eat breakfast.

"Honey! It's 7am you should get ready for school!" Mom freaked.

"Don't pretend you don't know what I'm up for today"I said while pouring my milk.

"What do you want for breakfast today?" my maid asked politely.

"I'll have grilled cheese for today, and can you bring it up my room? Thanks"I replied with a tiny whitsy bitty of smile that was 0.1seconds long.

"Are you skipping school again? I keep getting emails from your principal saying you missed alot of schoolworks and your grades are slightly decreasing" Mom said while crossing her arms.

"Yes"I said while waiting for my milk to warm up in the microwave.

"Why did you change into this personality Bay? You used to be very excited for scho-"Mom said and then my Dad cuts her off.

"Just let her be, she knows what she wants"Dad said biting his pancake.

"Yes I know but this is very bad for her education" Mom sounded really concerned and to be honest, she has nothing to be worried about.

"It's fine you guys, it's my life after all you have nothing to worry about, my grades are perfectly fine" I said

"I'm defending you just for today Bay, tomorrow you have to go to school or else-" Dad said emphasizing the have.

"I know, you'll cut the wifi connection and you'll make me have no access to everything" I said rolling my eyes.

"Good, just make sure she goes to school tomorrow, I have to stay in the hospital tonight" Dad said

I went back to my room, turned on my scented candles and turned the speaker on and jammed to TFboys' song while getting ready.

I applied my usual makeup for the day, as I applied my eyeliner very carefully and precisely I heard a loud knock on my window and someone was yelling. I was technically surprised so I messed up the wing. I walked towards my window and checked on the person who was knocking on my window like a physco.

"What?"I snapped.

"Whatever your name is- so i- I- miss- missed the- bus and-"Roy stuttered.

"Good day"I said closing my window, as i walked to my dressing table he knocks again so I opened it.

"Do you-"

"Good day"I said once again, I hate talking to people like him who doesnt take a hint.

"I missed the b-"He said while knocking my window.

"What do you want? Like seriously, you've been knocking on my window for three times and it's really annoying and I dont care if you missed the bus" I said, sounding very annoyed.

"Nevermind,"

"Good"I said slamming the window.

- 10.56pm -

I promised my dad that I had to go to school tomorrow even though I'm too lazy. I've been skipping school since Mino's death. Even though I often skipped school, I still could manage to get good marks in my exams. That's why I don't have to worry much.

My dad told me to sleep before but I ignored what he said. It's still 11.02pm and I usually sleep at 11.30pm. I scrolled down on my instagram profile and saw what my classmate posts. I checked all of my social medias and there are nothing interesting so I charged my phone and put it on my nightstand.

I went under my blanket and was about to close my eyes but my phone rang indicating that someone sent me a text message. I grabbed my phone and check from who it was.

Message: (unknown number)
Welcome him -11.11pm

Message: who are you -11.12pm
[Read]

That number keeps on sending me a message every night, it started when it was Mino's last night. At first I blocked that person, but that person changed its number into a new one and continued texting me so i changed my number and that person somehow knows my new number. Whenever I text that person back, that person never replies. Weird. I know.

I closed my nightstand light and used my blindfold and was already asleep in 1 seconds.
