4 |The Cool

Thank god he was gone.
.
"Wait! Lia?" He started again, I just turned around and gave him a look.
"You're supposed to wait for the teacher to say you can leave" he told me.
.
I turned around and started walking away.
"See you tomorrow?" He asked
"Mmhm" i replied
.
Maybe I should cool down, I know I have a tempter and I cuss a lot but maybe I could make a friend if I wasn't such a bitch. Ah fuck it Ima always be a bitch. I made my way through all my classes until lunch. I went through the lunch line and out into the cafeteria. I had no idea where to sit.
There was an empty table, so I decided to sit there.

"Hey" a familiar voice said
I looked to see who it was and it was Jc. He sat next to me, why did he keep trying when I was such a bitch to him.
"Hi" I Replied back.
"I've never met anyone so.... So vibrant" he said smiling
.
I was not vibrant. I was dull. But maybe he saw something I didn't.
"I'm not shit" I replied while eating my tater tots.
"You're like no one else here, Everything about this place is all lovey and smiley and kind and you, you're just the opposite, not in a bad way though."  He told me.
I could get somewhere with this boy, I'm gonna make friends with him.

"What's your number?" I asked him while putting one leg up on my seat.
.
He gave me his number and I have him mine. We talked for the rest of the lunch. He honestly made me gag. But fuck it, he seems alright.
.
At the end of the day I got on the bus, and sat in the one empty seat I could find. A few moments later a boy sat next to me. He had light hair, a nice jawbone and cute style.

"I'm Matthew" he said with a smile.
Why was everyone so kind?
"I'm Lia" I said with a blank face.
"Did you just move here?" He asked.
"Mmhm" I said while looking out the window.
"Cool" he mumbled.
That was kind of the end of us talking.
