The Island Of Kiken

Chapter 1 - Introduction

"TAKAO... Its wakey time, todays the big day!" Ren ran into Takao's room and jumped onto his bed chanting, "we're going on an adventure, we're going on an adventure" Takao slowly awoke from a silent slumber and rubbed his eyes to see his beautiful, brown haired sister. When he sat up it suddenly occurred to him, he could never have the same life again, Takao and his sister- who lived alone after their parents died- were being kicked out of their family home, he knew that today was the day his life would change forever, they would go to the forgotten islands, where there were no rules, no one to tell them not to do something, where they could follow their dreams and become the best they could be. They would battle everything that got in their way. He was scared to bring his little sister out into the world, to the very place their parents died, to the island of Kiken, where they would get revenge for the death of the great warriors, their beloved parents, they would kill the monster that did this to them, and take back the island in which they should have owned years ago, and then finally let their parents rest in peace.
Ren hadn't seemed to be affected by their parents deaths, No matter how many times he tried to explain it to her, she would seem upset for a few minutes and then she would be back to normal, like it had never happened. Takao guessed that she was just too young to understand. "ok, ok, I'm up" said Takao finally, gesturing Ren off the bed. "you're really are excited huh?" said Takao in a slow, sleepy tone as he looked up at the clock to see it was 5:00 in the morning. "well then, lets get going, lets go on an adventure!"
