Chapter 2

I climbed out of the jeep with the rest of my friends and Chloe's. "hey Franny". A bunch of the dudes said. I hated my nickname, which someone gave to me. I don't see how Francesca is so hard to say.

I waved to them and walked over. "late as usual I see." said Reese walking over. "yea." I said nervously.

I have had a crush on Reese since 4 grade. And every time I'm around him I get nervous.

"you going to the club for Chloe's birthday"? Yea I said talking to Davis. "me too." he said nodding his head.

"I'm not" said Reese. "what"! All the guys asked? "come on! Do it for chloe! Do it for franny"! Davis said. I blushed.

Reese sighed. "fine, but I won't enjoy it" Reese said stubbornly.

We all began small talk until the bell rang, and I ran to catch up with the girls. "omg, guys! Did you hear that Reese and sulivan broke up!" Hannah said as we walked to my locker. I rolled my eyes. Guys were so much better, of course till I began liking reese, than I was just nervous around him.

Every girl in school liked him. But, them again who wouldnt? He was tall, around 6'4. He had brown hair, was a werewolf, had bright blue eyes, was athletic, and he was an alpha.

He was the alpha of midnight moon pack. He and my brothers were really close, they grew up together, and he often came to the house with my bro, Michael.

I grabbed my stuff out of my locker and threw in my bookbag. I grabbed all my chemistry stuff and walked to class, the bell ringing as I walked in.

"just in time" mr. Walker said, and I rolled my eyes. I hated him.

I sat down between Logan and Chloe. Chloe was texting about her party. And Logan was rolling his pencil up and down his desk.

I put all my stuff down and thought about what to wear for the club.

Heels, no. Dress maybe. Jeans probabaly. Boots- "mrs jones. Can u answer the question."

I sighed and said "yessir".

"well" he said. "were waiting". I glanced at the board and saw the question. "um calcium"? I said, more like asked. "correct" he said. And I let out a sigh of relief.

In this class, it was all about participation. And I didnt like participating.

Luckily the rest of the day passed quickly. I was already hopping in the jeep and home before I knew it. "rememeber, I'll pick ya up at 6" Chloe yelled as I ran inside.

"hey bro" I said surprised to see him home. "sup" he said walking out of the bedroom... And Reese following him out. "you going to Chloe's party" I asked Michael. "no alpha duty" he said. I nodded.

"but Reese is going and he will take care of ya" he said. I rolled my eyes at my protective brother. " I know and I don't need him watching me, I'm not 5" I said pouting. "aww. Don't pout franny I'll watch you" Reese said in a baby voice and pinching my cheeks.

I pulled away and marched upstairs. "someone's p'd." he said a I walked up. "I heard that'' I said as I slammed my door. "you were supposed to"! He retorted.

I sighed and laid on my bed. I knew Reese didn't like me and I don't know why I cared so much. Or why it hurt so much. I laid there for who knows how long.

Then I snapped out of my thoughts and saw it was already 5:00. I quickly jumped out of bed and went to my closet. I quickly decided just to wear my really dark skinny jeans, and silver high heels. Then I grabbed a sparkly silver tank top and threw it on. I ran to my bathroom and reapplied my makeup, adding sparkly eyeshadow.

I applied my dark red lipstick and was done. I looked at the clock and saw 5:55 I quickly grabbed my jacket and my phone. I saw a text from Chloe. 'not able to pick you up. Sorry boo. Full car.' I sighed and texted back 'fine. I'll find a way to get there' I said and closed my phone, sticking it in my boot. I walked down and grabbed the 20$ bill my brother handed me. "thanks but I may not be going". I said. "why not, i thought u were really looking forward to it" he asked puzzled. " I was but Chloe can't give me a ride.

" I cant give you one, sorry. I'm already late for the meeting. I nodded sadly. "I can take her" Reese said walking up behind me. "okay well than have fun" Michael said running to his car.

"come on" Reese said. I nodded following.
