Sometimes there's no reason,

That we feel this way.

Sometimes it's not the emptiness,

The false hope, or the pain.

Sometimes it's just the heaviness,

The weight on our shoulders.

Dragging us down,

And tumbling like boulders.

Into the darkness,

Our minds often wander.

Questions without answers,

We endlessly ponder.

The stress of the world,

Tearing us down.

Piece by piece,

Leaving only a frown.

A facial expression,

Symbolizing the madness.

The craze, the hunger,

The overall sadness.

A mixed emotion we hold in our hearts,

Tearing everything,

Our whole world apart.

There is a solution,

To finally be free.

A little thing called hope,

That only the strongest can see.
