I wake up to the sound of waves crashing since I left my window open
last night, I quickly jump up out of bed and walk out to my balcony.

"Ty!" I hear from beneath me.

I look down and see Nate and our other best friend, Reed.

"What is it Nate?" I ask loudly.

"Come down here, the waves are perfect." He yelled.

"Ok, I'll be down in a sec." I yell as I run back inside.

I quickly put on my blue bikini and grab my board, I run down the side stairs of my beach house the leave from my room and meet Nate and Reed.

"There's my surfer, now let's go." Reed said before running off to the water.

Nate and I followed behind him, I reached the water and quickly got on my board. I caught a few waves before riding my board over to where it was a bit more calm, Nate and Reed joined me.

"So Tyler, are you going to do the classes today?" Reed asked me.

"Yeah."

"Cool, I think they start at 1 so we'll be on our shift so we can watch you." Nate said wiggling his eyebrows.

I giggle at him, they were both such kids.

"Tyler!!" I hear

I turn around and see Savannah, she had my best friend since we were about four. I catch one last wave and ride it in, I hug Savannah when I reach her.

"Hey Sav, how are you?" I ask.

"I'm good, how are you?"

"I'm great." I laughed a little.

"That's good, hey guys." She said as Nate and Reed came up from behind me.

"Hey Sav." They said together.

"So, where is your brother? I thought he was coming?" I asked.

"Oh, Zak got caught up with my parents. He should be coming soon." She said.

I nodded and we all hung out at the lifeguard chair, they were all lifeguards so we all hung out together.  None of them were on duty now so we just talked and sat.

Soon, we saw Zak coming towards us. He was duty so he had to sit in the chair, we talked and talked until it was about time to start the classes.

"Bye guys, I gotta go teach the surfing classes. I'll be back soon." I said grabbing my board.

"Kay, bye Ty." Savannah said.

I walked to where the class was, I dropped my board on the sand and waited. The only people who were here were the other instructors.

"Ok, please listen up. I will now say who will you will be teaching so listen up." One of the girls said.

She called out instructors and said who they were teaching, we each got two people.

"And Tyler."

I raised my hand.

"Ah, you will have Ethan and Grayson Dolan." She said with a smile.

Sweet, two dudes. I hope they're cute.
