"Hey, everything is going to be okay. We'll see each other in 7 months. Time will go by before you even know it. And we will be together again."(Guy best friend person who becomes a singer or actor or whoever) said to you, looking down at you as the two of you cuddled in the living room of your flat.
You pouted,"7 months. 7 months? You seriously think that I can survive 7 months without you? Who's going to listen to me rant about the people who don't like me and bother me all the time? Who's going to hold me back if I get mad? Who's-"
"Ok, ok. I think I got the point. I know, but you got (girl best friend's name), right?" He rolls his eyes and suggests.
"Yes, of course, but she's been with her new boyfriend a lot lately. I don't see her as much," You said.
"Oh... Well, then uh... You got-! ..No, she usually always has work. Oh, how about-! No, not him... Oh-! Wait, no... I don't know, but you'll find someone! If not, then we can always FaceTime, Skype, text, call, anything!" He says, trying to cheer you up. But you look at him with a weak smile. He sighs and tightens his grip around you,"Look, just don't think about it, for now. We'll make the most of what we can in two weeks, alright?"
You nodded, laying your head back down where you can hear his heartbeat.

For a while we pretended that we never had to end it

You were crying at the airport

The past two weeks were amazing, spending time with (guy best friend). Except for the fact that you planned on telling him your feelings for him. You kept telling yourself you were going to tell him, but end up not doing it. And guess what? His flight is today.
"Hey, uh... (Guy best friend). Wake up." You gently shook him awake. He rubbed his eyes, slowly opening them to see you. He smiles. "It's today, huh?" He asks, yawning and sitting up. You nod your head slowly and sit next to him, laying your head on his shoulder. "I'm gonna miss you." He chuckles at your statement, and puts his arm around you:"Save all that stuff for later,ok?" You sighed and stood up:"Ok, fine. Now, c'mon and get dressed. I made sure you had everything in your luggage, and me and your sister helped make breakfast with your mom."  "Okay, I'll be there."

You were crying as you watched as (Guy best friend) walked away to his gate. He looked back one last time, smiling and waved.
You never got to tell him. His sister comforted you as you, his sister, and his mom went back home.

It's been four months. The first few weeks he would always call you, text you, or FaceTime you. He's such an idiot. Heh. But as time went on, his calls and texts were less frequent. You knew he was busy, but you wanted him to keep texting you and all. You missed him so much. You tried not thinking about it, but anything you did, somehow he would enter your thoughts and you end up thinking about him.
Sometimes he'd post pictures with some people he met. And of course, he had pictures with other girls, which made you think about all these What If situations. When he would call, you would tell him that he better not replace you with another girl or else you'll hurt him, and laugh. He said,"Don't worry about that. No one can ever replace my best friend." Best friend. Nothing more, nothing less. Just best friends...

There was no doubt that you wanted to call him. But you didn't want to intrude anything if he were doing anything. You were looking through the Internet, and saw a quote,"Nothing lasts forever, nothing stays the same." This made you think about how everything was before (Guy Best Friend) left. You teared up a bit, while scrolling through the pictures with you and (Guy Best Friend).

"(Y/N)! There's this girl, and I really like her. She's so nice and cute! We're going on a date tonight! And you're sort of good with fashion, right? Help me, please?" He looked at you with puppy eyes.
