Ash had driven me home when we were done eating and gave me a hug goodbye. I had fun, I really did. I walked through the door and saw my parents with a stressed looks on their faces.

"Hey I'm-" I stopped myself, "What's going on?" I asked.

"Hey honey. Nothing is going on. Your father and I were just talking." My mum said a little too quickly.

"Katie, just a question, but do you like it here in England? You know, just a question." My dad stuttered..

I gave him a sideways look and nodded slowly saying yes. "Why are you asking me this? I love it here. Wait, why are you asking me this? I'm so confused."

"No reason sweetie. Why don't you go up to your room and your mum and I will call you down when dinner is ready." My dad suggested.

"Uhh yeah. Sure Dad. Oh! By the way, Liam and the boys are coming tomorrow morning and they're gonna be staying here for a couple days. That's okay right?"

"Yeah that's fine. Your mum and I would love to see them!" My dad said.

I turned and walked away. I heard my parents whisper as I walked up the stairs. Seriously, what the hell is going on right now? I mean my mum and dad always acted weird at times, but doesn't everyone's parents do that? It's nothing out of the oridinary is it? Whatever. I walked into my room and saw the total mess that was in it. Clothes... everywhere. I swear theres not an inch of the floor you can even see right now. I should probably clean this all up before Liam and the boys come tomorrow. Ugh I don't like cleaning but I love the feeling of a clean room.

After a good hour of cleaning my messy room, I was finally satisfied.

I plopped down on my bed taking in the spotless place. It feels good having a clean room rather than having one that doesn't even have a visible floor. I jumped off my bed and went over to my computer to check my Twitter. #WeLove1D was trending. I love seeing these trends. It shows how dedicated and supportive their fans are.

"Katie dinner!" My mum screamed from the bottom of the stairs.

"Coming!" I quickly shut off my computer and walked down the stairs. My parents were at the table in total silence. Seriously, what is going on right now? I grabbed a plate from the cubbard and sat down at the table and served myself.

"How's Ash doing Katie?" my dad asked.

"She's good. Lunch was loads of fun with her today. I'm glad we got the chance to spend some time together." I said to him with a cheeky smile.

"That's great" he said in a strained tone.

What. The. Fuck. I still don't understand what's going on right now. We sat in an uncomfortable silence at the rest of dinner. My mum cleared her throat and put her plate in the sink, my father following. They gave eachother a look that made me shift in my seat a little bit. I quickly got up from my chair and placed my plate in the sink. I started to walk upstairs to avoid this awkward night when my parents stopped me.

"Katie, can you please sit down. Your mum and I want to talk to you about something." my dad pulled a chair out for me and waited. I slowly but surely walked back over and took a seat. My father had pain in his eyes. Oh God what's about to happen...

"Mum? What's going on?" I asked.

"Well, Katie. Your father got a promotion at work." she explained.

"Well that's great dad," I said, "But why do you sound so upset?"

"Katie.. there's more involved." Mum said. I raised my eyebrows as a gesture for her to continue.
