The Clear Council is run by seven individuals, one from each Continent which included Asia, Europe, Australia, Africa, South America, North America and Antarctica. Though now each Continent is named differently. Lord Oskana is one of the seven in the Clear Council and leader of the High lands, also known as Asia.
He is not a royal though there are many high ranking ones in Asia as well as all over the world. Three of the seven on the counsil are royal and the other four are Lords. Lord Oskana was next in line after his father died and he took over at the young age of 19. You can be elected as leader or next in line if one of the family member dies. Though you can be reelected and have to step down if the Continent is not happy with your leadership. That rarely happens because they like to keep the line going.
I memorize the route we take through his castle of his as we make our way through the big hallways. I feel refreshed by the new colours, the walls where a comforting beige white and the floor was a cream coloured marble. The sight of the big high ceiling windows where a foreign thing to me and I loved them. The navy blue curtains where pulled back to give us a clear view of his large garden. By the looks of it, it was late morning.
Lord Oskana had slowed his pace down a bit but I still needed to speed up slightly. He still had his helmet on and I was curious to see his face in person. I had indeed seen his picture in classes when we ad to learn about the Clear Council but I admit my memory is vague.
"This place isn't as big as it may seem at the beginning. You will get used to it and wont have any problems later." I couldn't help but dislike the robotic British voice escaping from his mask. He said so himself that it wasn't actually his real voice and I would like to hear his real voice.
"Or course." I reply in monotone.
We arrive through a double door to a foyer, which had two marble staircases on either side leading up to the second floor. I gaze in wonder at the big chandelier hanging from the ceiling and giving the foyer a slight glitter. I may be the only one who may notice this due to my heightened senses. Eyesight was one of them.
Lord Oskana abruptly stops in the middle and I thank my reflexes as I jump to the side so I do not walk into him.
He presses a small button on the side of his helmet near his neck and pulls his helmet off.
I almost swoon at the sight of his attractive features but I remain impassive and avoid eye contact.
From the corner of my eye I watch him glide his hand through his light brown locks and his dark brown coloured eyes watch me intensely. It's hard not to stare deep into his enchanting eyes. It is hard not to obviously inspect every spec on his eyes.
"Your room is upstairs along with mine."
His voice was velvet and had a clear Russian accent in it and I couldn't help but swoon slightly. This voice I preferred much more than his fake one.
He tucks his helmet under his arm and indicates me to follow.
As we climb the stairs he continues.
"I have your room close to mine for mostly safety reasons."
"Of course, that is what I'm here for."
He chuckles and I'm not sure why. My answer was proper and to the point.
This hallway was shorter than the others and we didn't pass many doors as we stopped at a dark wooden door, it wasn't a double door but it was a decent size.
