Maine's POV

"So what's the occasion?." Nakangiting tanong ko. RJ just took me into this rare and glamorous resto. A beautiful place to have dinner with your loved one.

"Bakit bawal ba?." RJ pulled out the chair for me to sit on.

"Hindi naman. Nagulat lang ako." Lumuwang lalo ang ngiti ko. Ang cute niya lang kasi talaga kapag nagbebaby talk.

"By the way, these flowers are yours so as my heart." Sabay abot ng roses. And there he goes again with his beautiful, mesmerizing smile. God, why does he have to be this handsome? Hindi siya nakakasawang pagmasdan.

Ang sarap sigurong lagyan ng tubig yung dimple niya at magswimming duon. HAHAHA! Oopsie...

Tumikhim siya. I bit my lip. Did he just noticed that I'm staring at him the whole moment? Well, it's not my fault. May mata ako so I need to see beautiful sceneries.

Seriously, he is just wearing a white shirt and jeans but he totally pulled it off. Specially with those biceps. My eyes literally looked for that-----. Nevermind. "Meng kailan kapa natutong humarot!" Says my mind.

"Thanks for the flowers. So sweet of you." Nagwacky face look ako. I need to make distractions to calm myself. He's not even my boyfriend to start with so.....

Yes. Hindi ko pa po binibigay ang matamis na oo. Five months na niya akong sinusuyo at five months na din akong nagpapabebe. But of course, we both know that I do have feelings for him too. Sinong babae ba ang hindi maiinlove sakanya diba?! He's just too good to be true. I swear.

And so we ate dinner and talk about a lot of stuffs. Kung ano ang ginawa today, what I did today and other work-related stuffs.

Then suddenly, this song played on the backgroud -God gave me you-. The white lights started to dim and replaced by rainbow colored lights. He guided me out of the chair, grabbed my hands and put it on his nape. He put his hands on my waist. I could smell his breath. His face is just an inch away from mine and I don't really know exactly what to do. Where should I look? Alam kong tinititigan niya ako. My heart started to act abnormal. AS IN ABNORMAL.

"Alden."
"Maine."

I looked at him...

"Hmm." Yumuko ako.

But he held my chin up to face him.
"Maine, I am thinking about kissing you tonight." He whispered to my ear. And looked into my eyes again.

"Alden I----" But before I could even utter a word.. He just kissed me.

"I love you Nicomaine. I couldn't imagine my life without you. Sayo lang ako naging baliw ng ganito." Niyakap niya ako ng mahigpit.

Hindi ako makaimik. Magsalita ka sabi ng utak ko pero hindi ko alam kung may buhay pa yung puso ko. Seriously, RJ just kissed me. Halo halong kaba, kilig, at pag-aalinlangan ang naramdaman ko.

"Uy. Sagutin mo naman ako." Hinawakan niya ang magkabilang pisngi ko. At nakatitig padin sakin.

"Wait Alden. Did you just kissed me?" Tulala ako...

"Ayaw mo ba? Sorry. Hindi ko na uulitin." Malungkot niyang sabi.

Binitawan ko siya at napayapos ako sa upuan. "Wait let me just think this over. You just kissed me."

"Wag kanang magalit. Sorry na. Dina ko uulit." Napakagat siya sa labi niya.

I took a deep breath. "Ulitin mo nga yung sinabi mo kanina."

"I'm sorry. Diko na uulitin yung kiss. Hindi ko lang talaga napigilan yung----."

"Hindi. Yung isa pa. Yung may I love you." I took every energy I have left to look at him face to face kahit umiinit na yung mukha ko. Gusto kong makita kung gaano siya kasincere sa feelings niya para sakin.

Inilapit niya ang upuan niya sa akin. And while holding my hands, he said this--. "I love you Nicomaine. I couldn't imagine my life without you. Sayo lang ako nabaliw ng ganito. I cannot even describe my feelings when I'm with you. Kung pwede ko lang buksan tong loob ng puso para iprove sayo na ikaw lang ang nilalaman nito ginawa ko na. You are the best thing that ever happened to me. Mahal na mahal na mahal na m-----."

I moved closer to reach his lips. Finally, lahat ng doubts ko, nawala na parang bula. Uminit ang mga mukha namin. And tears began to fall from our eyes. He hugged me, I hugged him back.

"I love you too, RJ. Ganun ka din naman sakin e. You are the best thing that ever happened to me. Promise me, I will always be the one and only woman in your life." He wiped my tears and kissed my forehead.

"I promise. I will never ever look for another woman. I'm yours forever Maine. I love you."
