'Please go to sleep'
I begged deb, short for Debra. Who knew making 11 months old baby go to sleep was this difficult. It would have been easier if we had a cot for her but sadly all of us have to sleep in a single small room.
Don't even get me started on how little space we have to ourselves considering we are 6 in total. Nope, no parents, it's just us siblings.
Every day we wake up with same terror about what the day will bring us but for sure not our parents. I'm already getting late for my shift at cafe but deb doesn't seem to care as she keeps on snuggling further into my embrace.
'Why don't you head out and I'll stay here with her'. My 14 year old sister, Emma, whispered. I smiled gladly and left Emma to cuddle with Debra.
I walked into the lounge to see both Austin and Dustin sleeping on the worn out couch or what was left of it. They both were snoring in sync, that's a twin thing I guess. 7 years and still we were to see them fight or even argue for the first time, they agreed with everything together. Honestly it is irritating sometimes.
On the kitchen counter Andrew was passed out. Innocence on his face when asleep can make anyone believe he's a sweetheart but when up he's your ordinary 12 year old with a bit too much of sass.
I grabbed a glass of mango shake and gulped it down in an instant, give it to Emma to make everything seem much more delicious. Emma was basically the cook of the house, well part time because she loves to study much more than a usual student.
Grabbing my boots I walked to sit on a stool and tied them up quickly and a second later I was out the door speed walking to the busy cafe down the block. At least weather is pleasant today.
Why am I writing this? .-.
