French fries are deep fried potatoes. Ok so I know were the fries come from. But the French part doesn't make sense. The fries are not of the French variety and they did not grow up in France. They don't even have a French accent. And don't say that they originated in France because that would mean that they lived there and potatoes don't live in France.
