One day I was just in my room thinking about what happened when I was younger.
Flashback- age five
I came home to see my parents fighting again. When are they gonna stop. I just walked to my room and I heard them screaming my name out. I went to the living room to find them waiting for me. "We are filing a divorce paper, and your gonna stay with your aunt for a long time." They said and you just sat there with an emotionless face.
End of flashback
So this is the month that my parents finalize the papers. I stayed at my aunts house and it was actually very comforting because she's been helping me with what had happen because I was depressed. But now I'm 17 and turning 18 in two months. I was going to XXX high school. And there's this new guy named Mingyu and he's really nice and I know he's been their for a while but I feel like I've known him forever.
Two months later (sponge bob reference)
Mingyu's pov
Today was y/n's birthday and I wanted to get her something she wanted for a long time. A iPhone 6.... nah I joking she really wanted a promise ring and today I went to the store and got a promise ring for the both of us and hers has my name and mine has her name. It was a beautiful back laced ring with lines of white.
Ring ring
My phone ringed and it was y/n I answered and pretended to forget her birthday.
Mingyu: anneyong
Y/n : annyong Mingyu where are you?
Mingyu: I'm home trying to sleep why?
I put my phone to my chest so I can laugh a little. I put it back on my ear.
Y/n: oh nothing I just wanted to know what your doing so ya byee.
Mingyu: okay well bye y/n.
I hung up and started to laugh. Her mom called a few minutes later to tell me that she's almost home because she went to the movies. I rushed to her house and everything was prepared and decorated. We waited and she came out of her friends car and walked towards the door. I hid behind the couch and waited for a couple of seconds the bam.
"Surprise y/n!" Everyone yelled and clapped at her. I saw how she was looking for me. We made eye contact and she came up to me and hugged me. "Happy birthday y/n." I heard her sniffle a little. "Thank you Mingyu I'm glad to have you as a friend." A couple of minutes later she opened her presents and mine was last. She grabbed my present. "To y/n , from Mingyu." She looked at me and I smiled and so did she. Awl he opened and her jaw dropped. She looked at me with her tearing eyes. I smiled and walked up to her and hugged her. She was crying and I was there enjoying the hug from my best friend. Once the party ended "Me and her went to the garden and talked. "Thank you so much Mingyu." "It's my pleasure y/n. We will be friends forever and ever I promise that and to make sure of it I bought you the ring as a promise to keep it." She looked and me and smiled and nodded in response.
A couple years later
Y/n pov
Today was the day me and Mark (from got7) get married. I was in the back ready to walk when my best friend Mingyu comes. He walks me down the isle and hands me to my Mark. I loved Mark soo much and Mingyu was like an older brother to me and I loved him for that.
