True Feelings

"Where....where did she go?..." Slenderman looked around him.  He heard bushes rustling behind him.  "WHO GO'S THERE!" He jerked back.  His face ripped open to reveal his bloody smile, his tentacles jerked out of his back.  Lightning crashed, the sudden light lit up his bloody smile.   He felt his rage slowly disappear, he couldn't believe his eyes....Emily was standing there.  Her face change from happy to horrified.  She felt all of the blood drain from her face, making her feel cold internally.  She had flashbacks from when Slenderman transformed the first time.   Rain poured down as both of them starred at each other.  "Emily..." Slenderman reached out his hand.  Emily stepped back, traumatized again.  She started to run away.  "Emily! Emily wait!!" Slenderman's voice echoed as Emily ran deeper into the forest.  Slenderman felt horrible.  His skin grew back again, and his tentacles disappeared.  He started to run after her.

Emily kept running deeper into the forest.  Lightning crashed and lit up the forest for a second, then back to dim lighting.  Emily tripped over a rock, and fell on her knees and arms.  She scrapped her knee, but she still ran.  She could hear Slenderman running behind her.  She felt a little blood drip from the wound down her leg.  Pain stung every time her feet hit the ground.  Her legs ached from running, she bit her lip to keep herself from crying.  Her legs gave out, she fell again from exhaustion.  She was breathing so fast she almost chocked on air.  She bit her lip again.  Her knee was throbbing.  She heard feet hitting the Earth.  Slenderman was coming.  She started to panic.  She looked behind her and saw someone standing there.  Lightning struck and the light lit up his face.  Slenderman.  Emily yelped and hide her face in her arms.  She started to cry "no...st-ay awa-y..f-rom m-e..." she said through sobbing hiccups and still painting from running.  Slenderman knew he scared her.  He felt horrible.  He kneeled down and scooped Emily in his arms resting her on his chest.  He put his hand on the side if her head.  Both of them were soaked from the rain.  Emily started to shiver in his arms.  "Yo-u...sca-rd..me da-d" she hiccupped as she talked.  "I know...I didn't mean to scare you..." his voice is calm.  He grabbed my shoulders, he put his middle knuckle on his index finger under my chin and lifted my head up, looking at his face.  His smile was gone "I promise I will never scare you like that ever again" she smiled a little "I forgive you" Slenderman "smiled".  Lightning struck the sky making a loud crash.  Emily yelped and hugged Slenderman.  "you don't like thunder" he looked down at her.  He felt her head shake no.  "Come on, let's go home" Slenderman gently picked her up and carried her in his arms.  Emily's teeth chattered from the cold breeze brushing against her cold, wet skin.  She rolled over, her eyes started to feel heavy.  Slenderman looked down and saw Emily's scraped up knee.  It looked bad.  He set her down on an old stump.  Emily jerked awake.  Slenderman took off his suit, leaving his under shirt, he tore a piece of fabric from the inside.  He wrapped it around Emily's knee.  "There you go" he looked up at her.  She smiled sweetly "thank you dad" she rubbed her eyes trying not to act tired.  "You sleepy?" He asked "no..." Emily yawned.  Slenderman chuckled.  He grabbed his suit and wrapped it around her.  He scooped her up off the stump and continued walking.  Lightning flashed again and crash came in the thunder.  Slenderman felt Emily tense up.  She nuzzed into his suit.  Slenderman looked ahead and found the place they were before.  He replayed the memory of him scaring Emily.  He shook his head getting rid of the memory.  Slenderman thought to himself "how did a lightning strike bring her back from the dead?" He shrugged his shoulders, and brushed the thought off.  He looked over and saw the barn.  "Finally" he looked down at Emily she fell asleep.  He held her closer.  He walked towards the barn, and he layed Emily down on the hay stack.  She smiled and curled into a ball.  Slenderman kneeled down and touched his forehead on hers.  He softly kissed her forehead.  "Good night Emily" Slenderman walked outside and teleported.  Slenderman knows what its like to be a father.
