Beautiful.

Link loved that word. It brought him peace and stress-free feelings. It brought him a load of nostalgia, wanting to come back home into his lover's arms, just to be reassured everything will be alright.

After defeating Ganondorf and the retreat of the Twilight Realm, everything in Hyrule had came back to it's normal state. It soothed Link that he had done his job well of protecting the three golden goddess's land.  It no longer put pressure squarely on his shoulders.

Beautiful.

The word reminded him of Hyrule itself.

"Come on Link, let's go start a new adventure, whenever you're ready, of course!"

Those were your exact words.

You told him when Hyrule is restored, you wanted to explore the plains of Death Mountain, the forests of the Forest Temple, the lakes of Lake Hylia and under the trees of the Scared Grooves. Those were all beautiful, he thought.

Beautiful.

The word reminded him of you, and you alone for a person.

Oh, how he missed your smile, it seemed to light up everything, brighter than his trusty lantern, from dark places to souls. He thought your smile alone can cure any scar in his spirit and blood.

How he also missed those brightly coloured ____ eyes you had, it reminded him of the moments you and him had throughout your adventures. The moments you showed him great emotion, from happiness, love and grief.

The word 'Beautiful' was enough to send him reminiscing of the good times he had spent with you.

The Blonde smiled and chuckled a bit. He looks around Lake Hylia and finds himself resuming whatever he was doing; blowing the horse grass in his hand. The chestnut horse he had been expecting arrived at his side, pawing at the ground gently in recognition. Link mounts Epona and kicked her sides, going off in the speed of light towards Ordon village, muttering his last words to his adventures.

"Finally, I'm coming home in your arms, my sweet and beautiful, _____."
