"Lilly, I'm tired of being invisible! I'm tired of being that girl in the corner who sits there and reads her books by herself! I want to do something!Anything!" I rant throwing my hands in the air.
"Like what, Grace?" Lilly questions.
"I don't know! All I know is I want to be different. I want to do something that matters. I want to change lives. I don't want to be another face in a crowd. I want people to know who I am and all I've done. When I die I don't want a few people to mourn and others to see me as another person who's gone." I turn to face my best friend, look her dead in the eyes, and say, "Lilly, I want to change the world."
