Nialls POV
Our car stopped in front of my old home. I smile widely at nobody as I jumped out and paid the driver. I grabbed our luggage and we all walked towards the door. I started to get nervous as too how my family will react to seeing their grand children and niece and nephew for the first time in sixteen years. I push the doorbell and we waited.
"Niall my boy." My mother greeted happily. "Bobby look who is here." Mum shouted for my father. They are divorced but they new I was coming over so he came over as well. They greeted me and they both saw who were behind me. "Niall are they?" She asked me.
"Mum, dad, these are your grandchildren. Jessica and James." I said and the twins both gave their grandparents shy smiles.
"Oh my god." My mum said and walked past me and engulfed them both in hugs. "Oh you probably don't remember me but I'm your grandma." She said. "My name is Maura and this is Bobby your grandpa." She said. The twins stayed silent. "Well come on in." She said and we all walked inside my childhood home. Nothing has changed.
"So Niall how have you been?" My dad asked me as he put a hand on my shoulder.
"Good." I replied as we sat down in the living room.
Jess' POV
"So how old are you two now?" The woman, who I now know as grandma, asked.
"We are both sixteen." James says right as I am going to answer. I hate when he does that. I'm known as the quiet twin but I would like to talk sometimes if James wouldn't answer or say things for me. I am not a child.
"What do you two like to do for fun?" The man, I know now as grandpa, asked.
"I do gymnastics and James plays football." I said before James could. They nodded and the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it." My dad said as he stood up and walked towards the door.
"Niall!" I heard a mans voice.
"Greg!" Dad said. "Hey Denise. Hey Theo!" He continued. "Hey Denise." One by one a man, a little boy, and a woman carrying a small child came into the living room.
"Hi there." The man said to James and I and I just gave a polite smile back.
"Guys this is your Uncle Greg." Dad said motioning to the man. "Your Auntie Denise." He motioned to the woman. "And your cousins Theo and Teagan."
"Hi I'm this many." The little boy, Theo, said as he came up to me holding up six fingers. (I'm making him six in this story.) "How many are you?" He asked me.
"We are this many." I said while I signed 16 with my fingers.
"How many is that?" He asked. I guess he didn't know what number I gave him.
"Sixteen." I told him.
"Oh okay." He said. I chuckled a little he was really cute. He looks just like dad too.
Time passes and many questions were asked but it was finally time for dinner. We all gather around the table. As we eat and make small conversations my mind draws back to mum. I wonder how she's doing.
Later we ate and the boys went outside to play football and I stayed inside with the girls.
"So how's your mother?" Grandma asked.
"She's doing good." I simply asked.
A few hours past and dad took James and I to a hotel we were going to stay at. It was huge. It was a suite.
"Well kids. I'm going to bed. Don't stay up too late alright. Goodnight. I love you both." Dad said and left.
James and I stayed up a little while longer then went to bed ourselves.
Typical night for me, go to sleep, have a nightmare, don't sleep. I just want to see my mum.
